God gives us many gifts such as instruction, water of life, opportunities, and Christ's example. It is our duty to accept and use the gifts to fulfil God's will.

Our brothers and sisters in Christ provide us accountability, which we should embrace as it can keep us from straying from God. It is important that we embrace this form of accountability, insuring that we stay right with God, or we will be held accountable for all of our sins in the judgement.
A stronghold is where we protect what we value most. We often form attachments to things and we will serve these things, which consume our lives and prevent us from serving God. Through Jesus, we are able to become new people and rid ourselves of our attachments and addictions to the things that separate us from God.
We often view ourselves and others through our own moral standards, judging certain sins to be worse than others, but God's standard holds all sins as equal. We are all sinners, and we cannot be redeemed by our own actions, but by the blood of Jesus Christ.
