You know the movie When a Stranger Calls? The one about the babysitter who receives a creepy phone call, and the call is coming from inside the house? Well, it was LOOSELY, based on a true story. There have been countless stories, and probably even more film depictions of a teenage girl hired to babysit, and after the children have been put to bed, the babysitter is alone, watching a movie, doing homework, on the phone with a boyfriend, whatever.  Then the phone rings, the caller asks, something along the lines of “have you checked on the children lately”, the babysitter is scared. She locks the door, turns on the light to see if anyone is there, nothing. She eventually calls the police and once the call is traced, she's told the call is coming from inside the house. None of that happened in this story, but somehow this is the source of the urban legend of the babysitter. But nearly 50 years earlier there was another Ax murder, even more horrendous that took place in the Appalachian Mountains. Four students hatched a plan to steal some very rare books and it became known as the Transylvania University heist in 2004, or Transy Book Heist. The plan was to break into the school's Special Collection in the Rare Books Room, swipe the books and sell them for millions of dollars….easy peasy. A mail carrier in trouble with his supervisors opened fire in a crowded post office on August 21st 1986, killing 14 workers and injuring 7 others before killing himself with a bullet in the head. Lauren Agee was a 21 year old from Tennessee who was found dead in a cove at Centre Hill Lake in Nashville. It was Wakefest (wakeboarding festival centered around beer and partying) on the weekend of July 25th to 27th, 2015. The official file reads: that, after consuming a large quantity of alcohol, Lauren fell off the cliffside where she was camping with friends and into the water below.
