Welcome, and thank you for joining me on All Told In A Hull Accent. This very short episode features the last instalment of Alvianna. This is going to be the last podcast for a while. Other commitments have unfortunately made it increasingly difficult for me to find the time to create the stories, record and edit as well as write and research book talks. Hopefully, next year, circumstances may change again and if this is the case I will be able to share more of my stories and poetry with you again. Thanks for your support over the past year, remember you can still contact me through Twitter regarding any of my works, and my blog will still be around too! Tarra for now! Jane. Would you like to hear another instalment of Alvianna's story? Even if you answer yes to only one of these questions, it's quite probable that you'll like this episode! Enjoy! Welcome to listeners old and new! This episode only contains chapter 2 of Alvianna. If you haven't heard the first chapter you'll find it in episode 11. Thanks for joining me on my first year of podcasting. I really hope you've been enjoying the stories and poems I've written. All Told In A Hull Accent was started because I wanted to share my writing with those who like to listen rather than read, or who enjoy listening to stuff whilst they're relaxing or doing little jobs! I wanted to make the podcasts entertaining, and easy to listen to a-bit-at-a-time. I also started it as a way to boost my confidence, improve my writing and expand my creativity. I hope I've succeeded! I'm really grateful to those listeners who've continued to listen despite the bad sound quality! I'm now in a position where I'm able to re-vamp those past episodes. I'll be leaving some of the original recordings in for various reasons, but will be editing them and making changes. It'd be great if you could go back and have a re-listen. As always, please send me feedback via twitter - @JinkiesKookie / Twitter and if you can, I'd really appreciate it if you could subscribe and rate the show with Spotify or Apple Podcast, or anywhere else you get your listening delights from. Thanks again! See you for season 2 on the 31st August! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jane-rhodes/message

Falling

2022-01-1218:50

The first episode of 2022 and the theme is falling: Falling leaves, falling with style and falling in love. Stories and poetry. Also, two poems by Ella Wheeler Wilcox. I hope you enjoy these offerings! Please subscribe if you do, I only produce one episode a month so you don't get fed up of my voice or get overwhelmed with stuff to listen to. Listen to a story at a time or all at once, the choice is yours. Disclaimer: If you're thinking about trying what is written about in 'Falling with Style' - Don't. I made this story up in my head, it is a work of fiction. If you try it you might hurt yourself or worse, and really, you should have more sense than to even attempt it.  Janey (@JinkiesKookie) / Twitter   here I tend to share petitions, things about books, crafting, 'witchy' things occasionally, and other interesting bits that catch my eye. I have toyed with the idea of writing something profound on here everyday, but I keep forgetting! Episode 1 Baltic Blues

Episode 1 Baltic Blues

2021-09-1218:18

This episode is poetic. I’m inspired by Caroline Norton, take a peek into a lady called Joyce’s world and finish with a poem called Baltic Blues. Some of these recordings are from my first attempts at recording so the sound quality won’t be as clear as the rest of the updated episode, but I have my reasons for leaving them in! Thank you so much for listening, I'd love to hear what you think, please, let me know on twitter (the link is below). I do not love thee I don't love yeh Taking the stairs Baltic Blues This episode features a poem inspired by a piece of music and film by Flemming Laugaard, a Danish composer.
