Alex Ford’s Superman: Man of Steel
After Tim Burton's Superman Lives was canceled, Alex Ford wrote this script for Warner Brothers, pitching it as the first installment of a planned seven-film series. This concept generated some intrigue, but Ford eventually parted ways with Warner due to creative differences.
This version of Man of Steel is separate from both Man of Steel (the proposed sequel to Bryan Singer's Superman Returns) and Zack Snyder's Man of Steel reboot.

James Cameron’s Spider-Man
After years of stalled development on a Spider-Man film, James Cameron submitted a 57-page "scriptment"—a hybrid of screenplay and narrative outline—featuring an alternate take on the iconic story. Though undated, the copyright registration places it in 1991.
Synopsis:
In a reimagining of the Spider-Man origin story, Peter Parker discovers his powers while facing off against two formidable villains with dark and twisted backstories. Carlton Strand, a ruthless and power-hungry tycoon with the ability to manipulate electricity, serves as a chilling embodiment of corporate greed. Meanwhile, Boyd, a man tragically mutated by a catastrophic experiment in quantum physics, becomes a living weapon of shifting sand and unrelenting rage.
As Peter struggles to embrace his new role as Spider-Man, his battles with Strand and Boyd push him to the edge—culminating in a high-stakes showdown atop the World Trade Center. Along the way, Peter's double life complicates his relationship with Mary Jane Watson, leading to a heartfelt revelation of his secret identity. However, their passion and connection come with consequences, set against the backdrop of a city that never sleeps.
With its gritty tone, raw emotional intensity, and moments of shocking vulnerability, this bold reimagining explores themes of power, responsibility, and love in the chaotic world of New York City.
