Kempe Nicoll didn't mean to become an influencer, but what started as a prompting to use his personal social media accounts to "flood the world with goodness" eventually led to what today is a verified Instagram account known as "Declare My Word". Do yourself a favor and follow them on Instagram. In this episode Kempe breaks down why it's so important to use our influence - no matter how small we think it might be - to spread goodness and make this world a better place. The smallest amount of light disperses even greater darkness! You can find Kempe's account here: @declaremyword You can find audio wherever you get your podcasts. Gretchen Hyer is by her own admission, "ordinary". And that's what makes this episode so ironically special. Sometimes we look for big defining moments to shape our testimonies, but Gretchen's story teaches us that ordinary moments are where God lives in the majority of our lives. Myths are weird, aren't they? Growing up people told me they thought 'Mormons' had horns, that we didn't drink water on Wednesdays, and that we had magic underwear that grants wishes. Maybe a little less weird, but still prevalent 'round these parts, are some myths about Institute.  In this episode our amazing YSA Administrative Assistant Geneva Raber (@genevaraber - Insta) I bust some myths wide open. Anthony found a Book of Mormon in the middle of a war zone sitting next to a copy of the Quran on a dusty shelf in a chapel. The peace he describes from studying it started on a journey that included joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But along the way it was simple acts of faithful "untagged" members who led him to deep conversion. His faith and testimony are deeply inspiring.   You can find audio wherever you get your podcasts.  You can also follow us on: Insta: https://www.instagram.com/stginstitute/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/stginstitute  and YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@ComeandBelong (DISCLAIMER: This podcast is not affiliated with nor endorsed as an official production of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In this brief episode, we're going to do something a little different. Listen to a quick clip from Elder Christofferson called, "Is There a Place for Me?" and ponder what we can do to 1) Reach out more to people who are different than us, and 2) Commit ourselves to be included.
