very hard to listen to this due to croaky voice and presenters stuttering. It proves to me that doing a podcast is a profession. I guess I'll just check in when the presenters are easier on the ear.

Dear Layla, the word "biopic" is short for "biographical picture", so it's properly pronounced "BYE-o-pic", as in "bio pic". Cheers.

Your introduction to Paris Memories doesn't mention either the name of the film or the main actress, who you talk about a lot in the review. It left me feeling a bit lost listening to the discussion. It would be helpful to include the headline facts - don't forget that people listen to podcasts while driving, cycling, washing the dishes etc when they can't pause to look up information.

Nope was decent but not amazing - basically just Jaws with an allegory about how Hollywood chews people up and spits them out. It was engaging and occasionally quite tense. 3.75 out of 5,

That is what you expected from a film critics and a director. It was more like listening to a modern thinker and scholar talking about existential crisis. love the way he was running through the talk. l AM WHAT I AM NOT. love this

A.C. Jimbo, yes, 2049 was disappointing, especially b/c the original was in my all time top 5. Funny story, took a Hungarian and Ecuadorian friend to watch 2049 on opening night. Both had stated they watched the original and for both English is their 2nd language. Two hours and 45 minutes later, they said it was a bit confusing and they were wondering where Wesley Snipes and the vampires were!! Can u imagine their bewilderment?? Lol. Daniel Musser
