Andi and Ty catch up, hit a little bit of the electoral circus, interrogate the state mechanisms of exclusion and extraction (and their ultimate limits), then dare to ask the question: "Dudes, seriously?"
Are robo-lawyers even more soulless than the regular kind? Are there algorithmic upsides? What about pyrates? Ruthless, uncivilized brigands, or visionary forebearers of a democratic revolt against expanding state power? All this, a little too much imbibing, and more!

It's a bit of MTG, a bit of Musk, then a deep dive into climate discussions centered on Andreas Malm's work (How to Blow Up a Pipeline and Fossil Capital), Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine, and a bit of Oreskes/Conway's Merchants of Doubt as anchor points.
The old gang is back in action, as Andi, Brent, and Ty rejoin their forces to talk through the last year, or at least the last week, diving deep into the West/Jones/Pool/Fuentes arc, hashing out what we can glean from the acceleration of right wing violence and intimidation, and generally revisiting just how right we were.

It's a laid back episode wherein Brent and Ty catch up, talk about the relative lack of news being forced down our gullets, and nerd out about academia. It's a casual, back to the roots old-school PFT chat without Andi to draw any broad, significant themes out of, so listen at your own risk.
It’s a special episode this time. We abandoned 2/3rds of the crew so our guest could actually get a word in edge-wise, and it was well worth it (!) ‘cause we had one Dana Baker (@danambaker) on to talk local involvement, a different take on dual power, rural takeovers and other dark commie plots. Muahaha.

We try to hone in on the early January putsch and what comes next, but don’t worry, we still make it to the bronze age and indulge a little too much in how to cook marijuana.
Andi and Ty started talking about the Qoup attempt and quickly devolved into more David Graeber fangirling, some reevaluation of Midas myths (wherein Andi spitballs real-time fanfic re-writes of Greek mythology)and then totally solved that dual power problem.
The Gang o’ Three is back and we dive into some of the Proud Boy violence from Sacramento to D.C., laugh at lil’ Pete’s new conductor gig and spend most of the episode unapologetically nerding out on David Graeber’s body of work. Seriously though, Graber’s notions on debt, how it originally functioned, and how the inversion of that relationship through Jesus and J.P. Morgan was a bad thing. Surprise surprise, Andi gets a little too high, Ty interrupts constantly to ramble until losing his point, and Brent hols out that the steal will yet be stopped.
