Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell continue their coverage of the Charity Beallis case with a look at what divorce court records say about her marriage and life with Dr. Randy Beallis.  Charity was found dead by gunshot along with her 6–year-old twins just one day after her final divorce hearing on Dec. 3, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Why did police in Arkansas lie about Charity Beallis’ final divorce hearing in their latest press release in the case? Investigative Journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell finally have the full SLED investigation file on former Colleton County Clerk of Court Becky Hill — and it's worse than anyone imagined. Becky quietly pleaded guilty in December to misconduct, obstruction, and perjury in exchange for community service and probation.  Now, Mandy and Liz comb over 113-pages of newly FOIA'd "Becky Files" that expose a pattern of shameless self-dealing— all while Becky allegedly declared, "I'm the Damn Clerk of Court, I do what I want." SLED's investigation files show how Becky allegedly hosted an after-hours “sealed evidence jamboree” inside the courthouse during the Murdaugh trial and allowed fitsnews’ Will Folks, to photograph sealed crime scene exhibits in what Folks described as a virtual assembly line. Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell look at how Boyd and Williams’ claims of self-defense compare to that of Anijah Yarnell. Yarnell killed a man in 2020 which the court determined was a justified Stand Your Ground shooting in 2023 and the state is appealing that decision. Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell are ready to celebrate as Myrtle Beach “Pastor” John-Paul Miller is finally going to federal court on Jan. 12 in Florence, South Carolina. He’ll be arraigned on two charges related to why his estranged wife, Mica, allegedly killed herself in April 2024. Plus, Mandy and Liz begin peeling back the layers on the Charity Beallis case in Bonanza, Arkansas. Charity, who was 40, was found shot to death in December 2025 alongside the bodies of her 6-year-old twins in their house the DAY AFTER her final divorce hearing.  No suspects have been named yet and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Dr. Randall Beallis, has denied having anything to do with their deaths. The investigation includes six law enforcement agencies, including the United States Secret Service and Homeland Security Investigations, but little information has been given to the public on the status of the case. For almost 20 months, investigative journalists ⁠Mandy Matney⁠, ⁠Liz Farrell⁠ and ⁠Beth Braden⁠ have covered the Mica Francis case. They’ve filed dozens of Freedom of Information Act requests, listened to hours of recordings, gone through stacks of police reports, court documents, transcripts and text messages to piece together what the final months, weeks and days of Mica’s life looked like as she tried to extricate herself from her husband, “Pastor” John Paul Miller.  On April 27, 2024 — the day Mica killed herself in a remote part of a North Carolina swamp — JP was the leader of Solid Rock Ministries in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he had built, destroyed and rebuilt his megachurch all while, according to records and accusations made by family, friends and former church members, using his position of power and his so-called connection to God to bully, harass and torment his young wife, Mica — all the while denying wrongdoing and escaping accountability.  On Dec. 18, 2025, the United States Government announced that JP Miller (finally) was going to be held accountable for his alleged actions against Mica, who investigators say killed herself as a result of JP’s threats and abuse.  He has been charged with one count of cyberstalking for his alleged actions between Nov. 16, 2022 and the day of Mica’s death and one count of lying to federal investigators.
