Life has a tendency of making you feel discouraged, sometimes so much that it takes your focus off what you are called to do.  You cannot get comfortable where you are because there are people that need what you have started!  Life is going to happen and obstacles will come your way but that can not stop you! The time is now for you to go and finish what you started long ago. If you don’t break the cycle, the cycle will break you! We judge ourselves and others, but we never take the time to figure out why. We always deal with the surface and manifestation but never the root of it all. God judges us because of what’s in our hearts. That’s where the root is. Whatever is in the root is how the fruit is grown.  The root is always underground and not seen on the surface.  The root is powerful because that’s where the nutrients come from. The root is the foundation and when you cut the root it kills the foundation but if you leave the root, it bears fruit.  You must go back and inspect the fruit when it’s unhealthy, unpleasant, and does not reflect God’s character. Sometimes you may have to cut the root and replant it the right way. Ask yourself, what caused you to respond in this manner? Do you operate in a spirit of control?  When you operate in a spirit of control it says to the Father that we don’t trust Him.  You must relinquish total control. You must surrender and yield to God’s power and authority.  When you surrender that means you let go and you are saying that you submit to God’s vision.  Every time we put our hands on the situation and manipulate things to go the way we think it should, we are pushing God out of where He belongs!  Control manifests in stress, headaches, and pain! The Father is a jealous God and He doesn’t want any other thing to take what belongs to Him. Ask the Father to teach you how to trust Him for everything and doubt Him for nothing. Life has a tendency of making you feel complacent, sometimes so much that you may think about throwing in the towel and calling it quits. You cannot get comfortable where you are because there is still work for you to do!  The time is now for you to go and be the hands and feet of God here on the earth.   The Father has commissioned you to take your place in prayer, intercession, and integrity! IT'S GO TIME!!!! The spirit of the Lord is upon you and the Father has called you to great works! You do not have to wait for the sanctioning of man to walk fully in what He has called you to do. Accept yourself. The sooner you accept your calling and walk in who God has called you to be, the sooner you can fully walk in your assignment and purpose.  To be effective, you must be confident! To have an impact, you must be sure. You have been commissioned to fulfill an assignment. No more making excuses for your greatness! When you push and celebrate others with a pure heart, God will honor that posture and it will create opportunities for Him to open doors for you.  The Bible says rejoice with them that do rejoice (Romans 12:15, KJV).  I want to encourage you to push others, encourage others, sow into others, and find out what you can do because the same thing you do for somebody else God will ensure you reap those seeds for your own life. In this season be intentional with sowing seeds of celebrations, seeds of kindness, and sowing seeds of servanthood.  Often, we are in relationships with people who are not good to us and not good for us but continue to keep ourselves tied to that person because we don’t realize that person is toxic!  A person that is toxic is venomous, dangerous, controlling, harmful, unsafe, adverse and manipulative. We are in the season of elevation! While elevation is exciting, I want you to understand it also comes with warfare. There is a different level of warfare when you are being elevated in the Lord. The higher you go in elevation your lifestyle must change! The higher you go in elevation, the higher in prayer and worship you must go. Remember elevation comes with a greater demand and greater responsibility. The way you handle your elevation will qualify you for more. Because Jesus handled His elevation process with humility, He now sits beside His Father. Though the elevation caused Him great embarrassment, it glorified Him, and it has given Him a name above every name! I want you to remember that though it will cause pain, exposure, and persecution, it also comes with blessings! As you go through life, I want you to enjoy your journey! Do not dwell on failed relationships, unmet goals, or ideas that were never brought into fruition.  Be determined to do better and walk in liberation! Don’t just live, live a life of freedom! In this new season, you will not be bound by emotional and mental turmoil. The enemy wants you to stay in a place of bondage. To be liberated means to be free from anything that limits your thoughts or behaviors. I declare today that you are free and you will do the works of the Lord. Although you may feel as if you are alone while going through a season of warfare, I want to encourage you by saying you are never alone.  God is always with you! In this new year, we must commit to developing a consistent prayer life. When we are prepared by prayer, we are equipped to stand against any attacks that may come from the enemy. It is God's desire that we return back to the posture of prayer. When we pray what God has deposited within us, He will honor those prayers. Prayer is our first line of defense...
