While practice management software and tools have become ubiquitous, there is still a lack of education and awareness among users on how to best use practice management to unlock powerful workflows and efficiency in law firms.    One culprit of this could be our tendency to hyperfocus on specific tools at the cost of the larger structural practice management needs and processes in legal practices.   In this episode, we speak with Priyanka, the COO of Manupatra, to discuss what mindsets, workflows, tools, and utilities are critical to a law firm's survival in today's times. Together we explore from a helicopter view what are some of the winning strategies and best practices when it comes to law firm management. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/indian-legal-tech/message
In this interview with Manthan Trivedi, CEO of ManCorp Innovation Labs, we talk about the problems that the law industry in India is facing and how ManCorp Innovation Labs have helped High Courts in India like the Jharkhand High Court, Patna High Court, and Supreme High Court solve large-scale problems with innovative and AI-based systems. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/indian-legal-tech/message
Recovery of debts is one of the murkiest experiences for any litigant in India. After decades of innovation in other areas (both private and public), the state of debt recovery and collection has not improved.   In this episode, we cover Credgenics, a legal tech company that is changing that at scale.    Credgenics is a SaaS-based debt resolution platform currently helping resolve a collective of over 2,000 crores (with a capacity to handle over 2 crore loans each month).    Their comprehensive end-to-end platform automates collections and recovery processes which have been re-engineered and organized to ensure the smoothest path to a resolution. It brings stakeholders together on a shared, centralized platform, and equips them with tools and workflows to resolve disputes in the most efficient, cordial, and inexpensive way.     This is especially useful in large enterprises, where the entire process is often broken down in-silos as different teams participate as per their own objectives and processes.    In this conversation, we learn all about Credgenics from their Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mayank Khera. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/indian-legal-tech/message
We are in conversation with Hitesh Jirawla, founder of Cubictree which is a litigation management company with a suite of software solutions.   Cubictree is India's largest litigation data aggregator, with a repository of 250 crore+ litigation records (10 lakh+ added daily). And through the use of structured and analytical inputs, they make it easier for legal and business professionals to make high-quality decisions. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/indian-legal-tech/message
Contract management is the hottest segment in legal tech all across the globe. But are CLM platforms doing enough to fulfill business needs?  We spoke with Anand Babu, founder of Koncord Law according to whom we need to think beyond lifecycle management and develop solutions for the performance/execution of the contracts.  Anand argues that contracts, at least of a certain (deterministic) kinds, can and should be programmed as self-executing smart contracts. And that's what his team at Koncord Law is busy developing.  Anand and his team at Koncord Law have recently launched their flagship product, ContractsPlus. In the coming months, they expect to launch more versions of the tool which uses machine learning and smart contracts to create powerful automated workflows. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/indian-legal-tech/message
Practical insights into the practices and mindsets that law firms should adopt to create greater business value for their clients as well as themselves.    Trupteeranjan is the Legal Process Manager at Algo Legal, a Bangalore-based law firm that is one of the most forward-looking law firms known in India.
