Equanimity Practice

2026-03-1951:14

Today’s practice incorporates the theme of Uppekha, meaning “equanimity.” Uppekha is the fourth innate quality taught in the Buddhist Brahma-Viharas. These are four innate qualities that are cultivated through intentional practices. Equanimity is considered the anchor heart practice, assisting us to keep our hearts open no matter the weather conditions bring our way. This is a “yes, and …” approach to practice. Enjoy feeling sturdy, powerful, and wise no matter how you experience today’s practice.
