Aloha, welcome to the "Creator 50" podcast. I am Doc Rock, your content creation, coach, and host for the Creator 50 podcasts. Today, we're going to be talking about what is a creator?  Some say, creator, that's what I use. Some say, content creator. I use that sometimes as well. Some say content, entrepreneur. The general public thinks all creators are YouTubers, and that's not the case. So what exactly is a content creator? When you look at yourself in the mirror, do you call yourself a creator?What I don't want you to do is get stuck on platform names. Because if you ask the media, what a content creator is, they'll say "Youtuber." More recently, some of the media will say they're TikTokers. I am curious, in your own words, what is a creator?

Today we're going to talk about where to start. I think one of the most important places to start as you begin your creator journey, or even if you're in the middle of your creator journey and you need to take a step back and see where you are. And, that is to get a little bit of control of your BS a.k.a your belief system. Your belief system will set you up for success. Your belief system will set you up for failure.

Good to see you are still here. I wanted to talk about the elephant in the room. Why Create? I know about when I started and why I do it. By sharing with you a little back story, hopefully, I can trigger your "why?". Maybe you already know... take a listen anyway. Please share with me your stories.

Creator 50 podcast is a mind fart from a content creation coach that goes by the name of Doc Rock. That is me. I am him and we're wanting the same.Basically, I wanted to start this podcast as a way of inspiring my fellow gen X creators to realize that in his brand new content creation society, it is not too late to start creating. So here's the dope part. A lot of the guys that are out there creating now, let's call it your gen Z's or your millennials, whatever you want to call those people. Right. Generation next, whatever. A lot of them are creating really good content, very passionate content they're in their game. But, you know what they lack they lack the one thing that we have in spades.. Experience. Life experience.

Creator 50" is a new podcast that I’m creating and it’s a Generation X focused podcast designed to help content creators from any platform build up their media empires. Creatorship has exploded and yeah, creatorship… that’s the word? According to a report done by signal fire in 2020, over 50 million creators are making a full-time business out of monetizing their circle of influence. This is great news yet. Some people believe that creatorship is a young person’s game. Well, creator 50 is here to prove to you that this is not the case. I’ll be launching this podcast very soon.
