This podcast was recorded in Maplewood, MN during the 2019 IAHM (International Association of Healing Ministries) at Redeeming Love Church.  Dr David Nichols will demonstrate that Jesus is our example of how miracles and healing are to be done. The Gospel teaches us that there is an expectation in the Kingdom of God for healing to take place in the world today and that healings and miracles have never ceased in the history of the church.  So, it is right to expect that people can and do receive healing today and that healing and miracles lead to repentance, hallelujah!

Dr David Nichols teaches believers how to minister healing to people who have certain kinds of illnesses.  There is a whole category of illness caused by fear, stress, and anxiety, rather than by physical factors.  These illnesses often times can be healed and the pain that goes with them reduced by ministering the Father’s love, seeing God as a good father.  Dr Nichols is targeting those who have a grasp of the Bible's teaching on healing who are compassionate Christians who want to bring healing into the lives of others by relieving their suffering and pain. This course explores the ways in which compassionate Christians may minister healing to those afflicted with fear-based diseases.  These illnesses are discussed with appropriate Scriptures, and testimonials are given of people who were healed by the Father’s perfect love (I John 4:18).  The authority of the Words of the Scriptures are brought to bear on fear-based diseases.  Recorded at Josiah Center in Maplewood, MN, 2019.

Dr David Nichols asks and teaches on the question, "What is the Body of Christ?" and walks us out from the OT into the NT fulfillment of Matthew 5:17.  Foundations for Understanding the 5-fold Ministry begins by showing that Jesus is Prophet, Priest, and King; that He fulfills all five offices of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher (seen in Ephesians 4:11-12) while here on earth.  AMERICAN CHRISTIAN #59 “Fear Kills” Current Events 9/2021 A newly released study (2021) reports that 28% of 500,000 persons who died from co-morbidity related COVID-19 illness included “fear and anxiety.”  Co-morbidity, is other illnesses that contribute a person’s death.  Fear and anxiety is listed as #2 co-morbid illness. From the CDC website, “Underlying Medical Conditions and Severe Illness Among 540,667 Adults Hospitalized With COVID-19, March 2020–March 2021.” Among 4,899,447 hospitalized adults in PHD-SR, 540,667 (11.0%) were patients with COVID-19, of whom 94.9% had at least 1 underlying medical condition. Essential hypertension (50.4%), disorders of lipid metabolism (49.4%), and obesity (33.0%) were the most common. The strongest risk factors for death were obesity (adjusted risk ratio [aRR] = 1.30; 95% CI, 1.27–1.33), anxiety and fear-related disorders (aRR = 1.28; 95% CI, 1.25–1.31), and diabetes with complication (aRR = 1.26; 95% CI, 1.24–1.28), as well as the total number of conditions, with aRRs of death ranging from 1.53 (95% CI, 1.41–1.67) for patients with 1 condition to 3.82 (95% CI, 3.45–4.23) for patients with more than 10 conditions (compared with patients with no conditions). There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.  AMERICAN CHRISTIAN #60 “Scared to Death?” We are finding ourselves in troubled times, just who can we trust?  Know this:  There are two kinds of fear, the reverential and worshipful fear of God that brings forth a fountain of life and fear that has to do with punishment, sickness and disease, fear associated with death and dying.  In Psalm 23:4-6 “Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me… Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life…”  Do we really believe these words to be true today? And in Proverbs 14:25-27 A truthful witness saves lives, but a deceitful witness speaks lies [and endangers lives]. In the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children shall always have a place of refuge. Reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death. AMERICAN CHRISTIAN A Millennial Deliverance Authority and Deliverance Over Text Messaging! The account you are about to hear comes over a text message between two young girls from a youth group and their Youth Pastor. One girl texted, “There is an evil presence in my room right and I don’t want it here and I want to be rid of it.”  Again, there were no words spoken. Although he was a son of the Dove, Peter failed miserably in the matter of the Cross. The stern warning that is obvious becomes a huge opportunity. Peter did not remain in the state of a floundering, uncertain son of the Dove, full of revelation one minute, and full of defeat the next. By the time of the Day of Pentecost, Peter had been through the Cross and the Resurrection. The fire fell on him, and he was ready to heal the sick, raise the dead, and preach boldly.
