Description
Are you sick of the lies that Satan constantly tries to feed you? The constant pressure of everything around us? I know what that's like to live in a world that expects so much of us and is anything but Jesus loving. The Bearing Fruit podcast is a fortnightly devotional for those who need the guidance to sustain a beautiful relationship with him. A fruitful one. This podcast is for those who want to understand the word, and to be a living example of Jesus' disciples. To live as not how the world tells us to live, but to live fiercely like the King's child.

Hi guys, welcome back to another episode of the Bearing Fruit podcast. In this week's episode, we dive deep into the difference between seeking God's hand (His blessings, provision, and intervention) versus seeking His face (His presence, relationship, and intimate fellowship). Are we focused more on what God can give us, or are we truly pursuing a deeper connection with who He is?Together, we’ll reflect on what it truly means to desire God’s presence over His provision, and how easy it is to slip into a faith built on asking rather than adoring. It’s a heart-check for every believer—a call to return to the simple, pure pursuit of knowing God for who He is, not just what He gives.......Insta: @bearingfruitpod
Welcome back to another episode of the Bearing Fruit podcast. In this episode we discuss the first and one of the oldest tactics of the enemy and how he attacks. We’ve all heard that little whisper in our minds: “Did God really say that?” It’s the same question the serpent asked Eve in the garden, and it’s still one of the enemy’s favorite tricks today. In this episode, we’re unpacking how doubt sneaks into our lives, how culture twists God’s Word, and why it’s so important to actually know what He’s said. We’ll talk about how Jesus responded when He was tempted, and how we can do the same when lies try to creep in.If you’ve ever found yourself second-guessing what God has promised or wondering if His Word really applies to your situation, this one’s for you.Insta: @bearingfruitpod
Welcome Back and Happy Podcast Week! In this week's episode we dive into the powerful reality that our tears are never wasted. Too often, we view our pain and sorrow as signs of defeat—but what if they are the very tools God uses to shape us? Our tears, whether from heartbreak, frustration, or joy, are never overlooked by God. In fact, they become a part of His redemptive work in the world. We explore how God’s hands are actively at work in the midst of our vulnerability, crafting something beautiful and purposeful from what feels like loss.Let's unpack how God meets us in our brokenness and how, even in our weakest moments, His hands are still working. It’s time to let our tears become part of the bigger picture He’s painting in our lives....Insta: @bearingfruitpod
Happy Podcast Week!! In this episode, we dive deep into the small, subtle sins that have slipped under the radar of our daily lives. From the seemingly harmless habits to the cultural norms we've become numb to, we explore how these "hidden" behaviors shape our society, relationships, and even our own self-awareness. Are we so used to these sins that they've lost their sting? Or is there more lurking in the background than we care to admit?
Welcome back to another episode of the Bearing Fruit podcast. In this week's episode, we discuss how the enemy isn’t intimidated by your enthusiasm or momentary zeal, but by your unwavering commitment to follow God’s call. The devil trembles when we remain steadfast, even in the face of challenges. True faith isn’t just about starting strong—it’s about finishing well. The passion alone isn't enough. It’s easy to get fired up, but the real power comes when you choose to remain faithful, day after day, even when the flames of fire go out. The devil trembles when he sees you choosing obedience over feelings, consistency over comfort, and faithfulness over fleeting emotion.Insta: @bearingfruitpod
Welcome back to The Bearing Fruit podcast. I’m so glad to be back officially, and I truly can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for the podcast this year. To start things off, I felt the Lord impress this specific topic on my heart to share with you.In today’s episode, we’re diving into a tension many believers wrestle with—waiting on God vs. getting stuck in the wait. There is such a beauty in stillness before the Lord, but what happens when that waiting turns into fear, complacency, or spiritual paralysis? The truth is, God never calls us to wait so we can stay stagnant. His pauses always have purpose—but they’re also meant to prepare us for movement. Sometimes we stay planted in soil we’ve long outgrown, mistaking inaction for obedience.Let’s talk about what it really looks like to wait well, and to grow in the waiting,•••••Instagram: @bearingfruitpod
Welcome back to another episode of the Bearing Fruit podcast. In this week's episode we dive deeper into what it means to suffer as a Christian - more importantly why it is necessary to suffer. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that suffering can be extremely uncomfortable and painful. But in today's episode, we look at what the scripture says about suffering, why suffering is seen as a gift, and how we can steward our seasons of suffering well. There is no victory without a battle!
Welcome back to another episode of the Bearing Fruit podcast. In this week's episode we talk about the dangers of placing our faith in fear and how easily fear can entangle our life when we are vulnerable to the enemy. I pray that this episode blesses you and encourages you to use the greatest weapon that the Lord has given us to combat fear - The Living Word of God.
Happy Podcast Day and Welcome back to another episode of the Bearing Fruit podcast. Join me in this week's episode as we meditate on one of the most incredible stories in The Bible where we witness God's command to Abraham, contradicting the promise that He gave. What happens when what God has asked you to do doesn't directly correlate in receiving the promise He spoke to you? Do you have enough faith in the Lord to trust His intentions? Do you trust His character? Are you familiar with the heart of God? Is His promise enough to obey His command?

Welcome back Bearing Fruit family! Happy Monday and I hope you’re ready for this week’s episode because it’s quite a convicting one! In this week’s episode, I share what we as Christ followers are called to do, and that’s to love our neighbour - not just our Christian neighbour, but more specifically, the neighbour who we may strongly dislike. Jesus emulates love and when he was on this earth, he emulated pure humility and compassion to his enemies. This week, I share why it is important to wash the feet of our enemies and how that can not only change their heart, but yours too.
Join me in this week’s episode, and let’s be set apart from this world that calls us to only love those who love us.
I’m back!! Welcome back to the Bearing Fruit podcast you guys! It’s been a minute and I’ve honestly missed you guys so much - I’m so happy to back!! To get back into the year, I thought this would be a really fitting episode to jump back in with! In this week’s episode, we get into how exactly we can fall in love with Jesus, especially in 2024. 2024 is the year of falling in love with him. And I can say that after trying out these ways of getting to know him on an intimate level, I definitely have become more obsessed with Jesus and so hungry for him. I also for the first time, share with you a challenge that I personally created, with some way personable ways to fall in love with Jesus. Basically, this is my version of the 75 Hard Challenge, and I guarantee you that by the end of the 75 days, you and Jesus are going to be on a whole new level of bestfriends! These ways are some of which that have truly strengthened my relationship, especially in the last couple of months and I can't recommend them enough.
This is a long episode so get cozy and let’s dive straight in❤️
Thank you Jesus for the most incredible year, and thank YOU for being an amazing supporter and listener of this podcast.
I'm so excited to see all that the Lord continues to do on here. But for now, I hope you have the best Christmas and I will see you in 2024💗
Welcome back and Happy Podcast Day!!! I'm so excited for this week's episode as I have finally got our very first guest and my younger brother Robin on the show. Robin shares his non-linear journey with his faith and his battle with depression. He shares his first experience encountering depressive thoughts and moods, and how he went from hating God and embodying evil, to then later finding God's indescribable peace. Although this episode is a long one, I hope Robin's testimony will at least touch one person's heart. I hope you know that you are never too far into your pain, sin or unbelief for God to pull you out of the rubble.
I do also want to share a disclaimer on this episode that we will be talking about mental health and suicide.
If you are struggling, please do not face your battles alone. Please reach out to someone to either pray for you, or for someone to seek help on your behalf.
Believer or not, I hope you know how much Jesus loves you❤️
Welcome back to another week of the Bearing Fruit podcast. In this week's episode, we get deep into the topic of Spiritual Warfare. More specifically, I share my most recent experience with battling spiritual warfare; especially what that can often look like for some people, and how I overcome the attack of the enemy. I hope this episode will help at least one person in recognising the war that occurs in the spiritual realm, and to bring light to the armour you need to protect yourself with when stepping foot on the battlefield.
Happy Monday and Welcome back! We've got a brand new episode that is out now, where we get into some Green Flags people sent in when dating as a Christian. You guys loved the Red Flags episode which made me so happy, and I got a few requests to do a Green Flags episode, so here it is! Thank you to all those who sent in your Green Flags; I loved reading them, and I hope everyone that tunes in can add one of these Green Flags onto their list of non-negotiables when dating as a Christian. If you guys would like a part 2 on either the Red Flags, Green Flags, or both, please do let me know, and I would be happy to do one. Other than that, grab a drink, sit back and relax, and I hope you enjoy💘
Hi everyone, and welcome back, or welcome to, the Bearing Fruit podcast. On this week's episode, we talk about how often as human beings, our feelings can play a role in our thoughts, words and deeds. But more specifically, how many of these thoughts, words and deeds, lead us straight to sin. Feelings are a beautiful gift from God. We are created as human beings who get to feel the same emotions Jesus himself once felt, and should never hinder, suppress, or reject this gift. However, sin can slowly make it's way when we act on feelings that cloud our judgement, or make us feel good temporarily. Personally, being a part of the mental health profession, it pains me to see the negative connotation that expressing your feelings can have. However, it pains me even more to see people react without a second thought, using their feelings as the basis of their actions. Walking by faith in-spite of my feelings, is something that has immensely shifted not only my perspective, but created such resilience in me that will not waiver. It's not easy placing faith before feelings, especially as reactive and subjective human beings, but, practicing this throughout my walk with Christ, has allowed me to face any challenge I am faced with, without any doubt that God will come through. Because if it's not good, then he's not finished.
