The final episode of The Breeding Mound! First, they lost their brother, then they lost the war. Now Jens and Didrich Oversen must set aside their differences and face their family, before beginning the impossible task of rebuilding a nation brought to its knees. Still reeling from their loss, with the weight of defeat heavy on their shoulders, they begin the long journey home. But the world they fought for is long gone... leaving something far older in its place. As Jens and Didrich soon discover, the wounds of war may run deep, but sometimes it's the horrors at home that break you.    The Breeding Mound is an immersive folk horror production available wherever you get your podcast shows!  Support the show

There is no plague in Enfaire…Dead things have been found in the fields of Enfaire, a God-fearing town north of Reams. Not just dead things but twisted forms… unholy shapes. And there are rumours, too—of a blasphemous union and of fell creatures that haunt the night. Yet, even as plague and witch pyres blacken the sky, the town remains untouched by the malady that has already claimed thousands and will claim thousands more.It is here, in Enfaire, that an old Franciscan friar and his ward take shelter from a storm. It is here, in a little town on the edge of civilization, that they will have their faith truly tested. His Black Tongue is a tale of medieval horror, plunging the reader into the plague-torn land of 14th century France, when pestilence and death walked hand-in-hand, and life was little more than a sputtering candle, waiting to be put out. I absolutely love this podcast. I'm picky and hate most everything out there especially when it starts in on political stuff which should be avoided for the horror fiction genre period. My kid really dug the Cthulhu vs Kaiju episode.

An amazing story so far. Can't wait to hear the next episode! Medieval horror is the best in the genre imo. This is what a horror audiodrama should be, bravo.
