As we are entering the Holiday season I wanted to give some room for reflection to how challenging it can be. Loneliness can be found both alone and amongst our loved ones, and this episode gives us some space to reflect on the reality of what the Holidays are like for a lot of us. My biggest encouragement is that we can find inner peace, or at least moments of inner peace as we are entering this Christmas season.

All of this and more in this week's episode!
There are many aspects of grief. The grief you did not ask for, the grief that is a part of your decision, and the grief that came because of what you wanted but never received. Milestones are not just all fun and games. It can put a lot of unnecessary pressure on us, especially if we don't follow the crowd. Life isn't a checklist, and you are allowed to follow your own path. It is common to feel a mixture of feelings. Feelings of disappointment, grief, and sadness can take place, regardless of if we choose a different way of living than most people.

It's easy to get caught up in being healthy, working out, and getting enough sleep. But what about rest? Rest is as crucial as eating your veggies, but why is it often compared to laziness, "wasting time" and doing "nothing". Rest is underestimated, so let's talk about why we should take it more seriously!
I've been reading about self-deception lately, and I was challenged to say the least. It isn't hard to judge harshly, while we easily justify our own actions. Why is that? And although self-deception is self-defense mechanism, how can we change our mindset to become truer to ourselves?
What thoughts do you have about others? What thoughts do you have when you see people that do not have a home? What about people you can’t stand? Perhaps it's a coworker? Truly, what are your thoughts? Are you judging? Are you empathizing? Our brain is wired to focus more on negativity than positivity, and this podcast episode is a reminder of how awareness gets our mindset on the right path.
How is your money mindset? Are you living by the 9-5 mindset? Have you taken the time to set financial goals for how to make your money work for you? In this episode I'm sharing my journey on this subject, and how George and I are about to start our entrepreneurial journey together.
