You know those days that just start slow? You wake up late, forget things at home, and just start to feel overwhelmed? It's easy to just feel like the entire day is a failure and to start focusing on tomorrow...However in the process we usually are letting ourselves off the hook with our self-commitments too. So since today started out rough...we deserve a day off from our training? We deserve to eat out and self sabotage our goals? This is common but avoidable. Very often, our days that start off slow can end up being our BEST days...if we don't give in.

??? Then you NEED a Morning Routine! The beginning of each day should be "you-centered", so you can set yourself in a positive & productive state for others. Leaders are deliberate with their growth...it's time for you to do the same.
If you were in a burning building, would you chill on the couch and finish your show? Probably not. But for some reason is this how most people are when it comes to their failing health. We become desensitized to the dysfunction in our life over time. Eventually, despite being in terrible situations...we convince ourselves that "we have this under control". If you had it under control...you wouldn't have to tell yourself that...WAKE UP!
When you first start...it will be tough. It will require discipline everyday for the first few months. Eventually what should take over is LIFESTYLE. This is the true marker of progress & growth.

This is a tough episode for sure but packed with tons of gems. This fitness journey is a mental game. The reason for somebody stopping is because of mindset 99% of the time. There is often nothing PHYSICALLY stopping you. But what about that 1%...that's what we will be talking about today. Please listen with an open mind and reflect on why you have been stuck.
So you fell off...now what? We will all fall off the horse and dread the get back. I want you to learn from my mistakes, and follow the FASTEST way back into MOMENTUM. When you are at the bottom, it can be tempting to make everything perfect all at once. We both know this rarely sticks.
