Girl where have you been? Why haven't you posted anything? All your questions get answered in this season of the podcast. Not only will we go over where I have been but what God has done through my absence and also what he has taught me during my season of isolation. This season is going to be so good and I am thrilled to be back doing what I love so much! Chapters of my life have ended, healing has taken place, adjustments have repositioned me, and new doors have opened like no other. I pray that you are just as excited as I am because it's been such a long time and I am so happy to be back!!! SEASON 6, LET'S GO!

This concludes Season 5, The Marriage Season."Samuel never went to meet with Saul again, but he mourned constantly for him. And the Lord was sorry he had ever made Saul king of Israel." "Now the Lord said to Samuel, "you have mourned long enough for Saul. I have rejected him as king of Israel, so fill your flask with olive oil and go to Bethlehem." (1 Samuel 15:35, 1 Samuel 16:1)Sometimes God wrecks our lives, not to destroy us but for the impact to hit at such a great magnitude that your life is forever changed. Saul got hit with his life changing moment on the road to Damascus, the magnitude was so huge that it stuck with him. It had to happen for him to become who God called him to be (Paul).I am in the stages where I am grieving things that I once wanted, I am having to feel what I need to fill & process everything so that I don't continue to mourn in a place that God has called me out of when the time comes.Grief isn't just a thing when people pass away, it is also when things die in your life but they are still alive physically. Grief is unpredictable, and it comes out of no where & sometimes it comes when you thought you had processed everything. God is okay with us grieving, you just can't stay here in grief & that is typically what ends up happening.Often times we don't process grief, we stay in grief & we continue to mourn over things that God has already made his mind up about. Its human to be sad, angry, hurt, confused etc but we have to allow God to guide us through those feelings and emotions so that we can process them & not harbor them. Being honest and open about what you feel helps you to come to terms with the will that God has defined for your life & as you begin moving forward throughout this journey it will become your power. You will have the courage to move forward in things that seem impossible because you will be able to reflect on the previous times where you had to stand up against hard things, yet you made it through.Grieving the former things.Grieving the things I wanted.Grieving what I thought we had.Grieving what I thought we would do.Grieving the changes that have taken place in my life.But grief wont hold me hostage, I'm grieving now so that I don't hold on to things that God needed me to process so that when I get where I am going my feelings/emotions aren't in the way of what God is trying to do.

The enemy is after marriage and it's because he knows God honors marriage. He knows how strategic God is & therefore he knows the consideration that God used when putting certain ppl together. He knows marriage is ministry & marriage is an assignment & if he doesn't do everything he can EARLY ON to ruin your marriage then it will become this power source that God had intended for it to become & through that comes other people being set free. We play naive to how smart the enemy really is. We forget how he was in heaven which means he was exposed to how God operates which means he used that to strategize how he will operate; HENCE WHY SOME PPL CANT DETECT GOD FROM THE ENEMY. He was so convincing of who he was and what he could do to the point that other angels left heaven to follow him. WHAT MAKES YOU THINK HE WONT CONVINCE YOU IF HE CONVINCED OTHER PPL WHO WERE ALREADY IN PARADISE TO LEAVE A PLACE SUCH AS THAT TO GO SOMEWHERE THAT WOULD NEVER AMOUNT TO THE PLACE THEY CURRENTLY WERE. We get played by the enemy because we lack the tactics, tools, strategies, and discernment thats need to separate the real from the fake. The enemy has studied you since you were born thats why he knows your target areas, he has studied your partner the same way. He pulled both of yalls files to see where he could operate at and what he could use to make his plan successful. THE ENEMY IS MORE CLEVER THAN WE WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE. Marriages are sinking because we won't commit to the work that it takes for us to maintain them. IF YOU DONT MAINTAIN YOUR SOLE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD INDIVIDUALLY, THEN YOU WONT BE EQUIPPED TO MANAGE YOUR ROLE IN THE MARRIAGE. You cant have one and not the other, God is the one who teaches you who to be and how to be & therefore without him you begin navigating based off who you want to be & how you want to be & therefor the prophecy of a successful marriage never gets fulfilled.Prophecies change because people never commit to the work thats required for the prophecy to be fulfilled. Marriage is work, its the most sacrificial assignment you will EVER have. You die to flesh, you die to self, you die to preference & you die to selfishness; you literally have to be in a place to love, care, surrender and sacrifice in the ways that Christ does for you. Why is your marriage struggling? What areas have you neglected that the enemy has now used as his target area? What does your individual relationship with God look like? Are you operating to the best of your ability as the person God has called you to be in this season? Dont fall victim to the enemies schemes. Learn your traumas, your triggers, you struggles and own them so that they become your power because the enemy will use it as his weapon & if you have no power, you have no fight!

The same thing God wants to use, the enemy does too. God had to teach me the strategies of the enemy by showing me the very gifts God wants to use, the enemy wants to use as well. I heard a pastor once say, "Sin will take you further than you wanna go, and it will keep you longer than you want to stay." Self control is one of the fruits of the spirit and the main area I had to learn self-control in was my mouth. The old me would say whatever, whenever and however I chose to without an ounce of care for the other person. Through hard work with God and a few failed attempts & having to learn the hard way a couple of times I have now gained self-control in that area & this past season God needed to ensure I had the level of self control that he needed me to have so he turned things up a notch just to see. EXPECT GOD TO TEST YOU IN THE AREAS WHERE YOU HAVE MASTERED CERTAIN THINGS, AND EXPECT THE TEST TO BE HARDER THAN YOU COULD'VE IMAGINED. Sometimes God just wants to see if you truly free from the thing you claim to be free from. Watching yo mouth is so essential because the word saids "Life and death lie in the power of the tongue", "The tongue is a fire that can corrupt the whole person and set their life on fire. It is a restless evil that if full of a deadly poison." "From the same mouth can come both blessing and cursing, which should not be." Certain seasons of your life COST MORE than other seasons & I am in this season of my life right now where one wrong move will cost me everything God is doing in my life & I have to ask myself sometimes "is it the price I want to pay", and the answer is always no. I just dont wanna miss my mark. I just dont wanna miss God.

Marriage has been defined so many ways by so many people when in actuality the Bible has set and established the principles and foundation for what God defines for marriage. Understand that the Bible provides how marriage should be orchestrated and applied however being that everyone is different EXPECT everyones marriage to look differently. God isn't doing the same thing in everyone because we are all uniquely made so it is expected that our marriages will produce differently BUT THE PRINCIPLES LISTED FOR US TO FOLLOW WILL BE THE SAME, the results just produce different things because God desires to use us all in different ways. YOU GOTTA APPLY BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES TO YOUR MARRIAGE IF NOT IT WONT PRODUCE BIBLICAL RESULTS. Culture has convinced us that marriage is something to do, you'll hear "I know I can be a good husband because I can cook, I can clean, I can do this and that." Marriage is not something to do because if it was it would then turn into idolatry because what do you do when someone wants you to be something that you aren't? What do you do when someone expects you to be something God has not asked you to be? You eventually conform IF you believe marriage is something to do. Marriage is a state of being and in order for that to be fulfilled to its highest capacity you MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE SOURCE, THE FATHER, OUR LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! You are unable to be who you need to be in a marriage if you are not in constant relationship with God for him to show you who you are in him. When you are seeking the father, falling at his feet, fasting, praying and FEELING CONVICTION & making those changes in the areas where he is convicting you then he is able to mold you and equip you for the roles he has already assigned you to and for the ones to come. A disconnect from the source will disconnect you from everything God has connected you to. Marriage is more than what you want, how you want it, when you want it. There is going to be so many moments where God will make you be something to someone that you do want to be to them. Its a heart posture test, and a lot of people are failing at their roles in marriage because they can't disconnect their will from Gods will & they are expecting spouses to conform to things that God hasn't asked them to. Marriages aren't failing, people are.

I am so happy to be back, its been such an eventful season and boy has it been tough. I am here to share and teach all that God has been teaching me in this previous season of my life. This season is geared towards marriage and the things Christians don't talk about when it comes to marriages. They never tell you how you can start off equally yoked and become unequally yoked. They never tell you how the promise God has given you might produce a totally different way than what you envisioned. They dont tell you how there will be times where you've heard Gods voice in the thing you prayed for but you no longer want it anymore. They never talk about the things that need to be talked about but here we do. My assignment from God is to show people what a process looks like. To show and share the raw real uncut things that come with this walk with God. Talking about the things that Christians refrain from talking about which ultimately keeps other people in bondage. You have what it takes and you can't allow yourself to believe that you don't. The enemy wants you to believe that you can't achieve greatness even when you are going through some things but you can. Do you trust God enough to give him back the thing he has given to you in faith that he will give it back to you when you need it? Often times we think that because it came from God he won't ask for it back. See sometimes God will ask for it back to see if you trust him like you say you do. Sometimes he will ask for it back because you are not stewarding well over it. & another reason he may ask for it back is because he has plans to give you that thing back but in another way. God promised Abraham and Sarah a baby, he fulfilled the promise, turned around and asked Abraham for it back. God tested Abrahams faith and God will test ours the very same way. We have to sit and ask ourselves if there is any area in our life that we might hesitate to give back to God if he asked for it back. When God asks for something back he never equals it out when it is returned, he adds tax. You always get more. What area do you need to learn to trust God more at just so if he ever asked for it back you could be bold like Abraham and give it back with no hesitation simply because you know he has the power to give it back to you even if its another way?

Originally this started off as a marriage podcast but Holy Spirit had other plans. We got this crazy on the spot revelation where God did what I call a two for one special where he uses two different situations for one purpose. The purpose of this on the spot revelation was God reminding us not to let the devil steal our joy. Often times we get so wrapped up in God doing things the way we want, when we want, and when it doesn't happen that way we begin complaining but failing to realize and show gratitude that although God didn't do it the way we wanted him to, he still did it. The enemy will steal your joy and it will ultimately result in you being ungrateful for what God didn't do when you should be thanking him for all he did do. Don't let the enemy steal your joy in this season!!

I have learned so much through my short time of being married. I have realized how marriage is truly a continuous sacrifice but a sacrifice you don't mind making even when it is hard because it feeds not only you but your spirit. Culture has tainted marriage and just because everyone is married doesn't mean its a Godly marriage. Culture has convinced you that marriage is no longer the goal because good marriages no longer exist. That is false. Kingdom marriages focus on the marital principles established by God in his word, we are committed to this not because it is just something to do this is our assignment. Who you partner with MATTERS because certain people will keep you from your calling. Marriage is work & it's not easy but when you set your eyes on Jesus & you let him be the center of your marriage, all the work is worth it. How are you stewarding over your marriage in this season? Are you doing what you want or are you doing what God wants?

Do you desire to live in authenticity knowing that even with struggles God desires to use you? I think often times we assume that when ppl come to Christ they automatically change overnight & thats not the case. The only change made that quick is your heart. You have now allowed your yes to open your heart to change which will take place throughout the process in which will set you free at some point in time.I encourage you to come to Christ full of struggles and with hidden skeletons in your closet expecting God to blow your mind. YOU ARE ENOUGH!!!

God why is it taking so long? I've been faithful, I've stewarded well, I've been obedient. I know you may be in a season where you are trusting God to change your financial situation, I am too. However I want you to know that there might be a little more pruning required before you get there. We say "God im ready" but remember God knows when we are truly ready because God will not withhold anything from you when the time comes for you to receive it. Commit to the process that will take you places God desires for you to go, commit even if the season lasts longer than you would like. Commit even if your financial situation doesn't change right now. Commit even when you've been faithful & obedient season after season. God is so unique, he will meet each and every single one of us where we are and love us through the entire transformation process.Do not let people and their opinions be the reason you never experience God. Go be yourself and live outloud knowing you are flawed, imperfect but valued and seen by God. After 3 Seasons of just audio I have finally made the decision to get a visual content. I am so excited to be back after almost a year. 2023 was such a wild year but it produced so much. My faith has reached a level its never been at before, my relationship with God has deepened in such a life changing way & my commitment to my assignment from God has been fueled like no other. 2024, I have been given the green light & I am all gas. If you are new here I want to encourage you to start from the beginning so that you can be familiar with who Naturalies (pronounced Natural Lies) is and what God has intended for it to become. & for my listeners who have been rocking with me since day 1 & been patient for my relaunch I just want to say thank you & I appreciate you more than words could ever explain. Detour roads take us off our original route but it reconnects back to the original route in a different way. The same thing happens for the detours that God has us take that are off side of our original plans. James 4:13-17

Life doesnt run off routine, the moment we confine ourselves to a routine we forget that we are human, Each day is different and each day should be created in the way we choose to create it. Value isn't attached to productivity. You can rest & still be valuable, you can not finish your to do list and still be valuable.I pray that you start treating your days as art knowing that you're the artist.
