Is there something that you have always felt shame about but never wanted to talk about it because it made it real? This is something I have always felt in relation to certain insecurities about myself. I would speak so negatively about myself, to myself, bullying and shaming the way I looked, trying to crush any self worth or confidence I had, and make my insecurities my primal focus and thought. I recorded this episode about a month ago, and have been putting off uploading it as the fear of exposing myself and how I feel about myself, is a bit too real. No one wants to not like parts of themselves. No one wants to admit they don't like how they look, but no one, including me, wants to be owned by the parts of myself which put me down, make me feel small, and would rather hide in a corner and hope no one ever looked in their direction. So I just thought I'd put it out there, let it be free, and see how that makes me feel. The relationship we have to our bodies, our features, our faces, is a tale we have seen through the ages, we know that it isn't nice to be mean to ourselves, we always bring others up when they experience these insecurities, insisting "No, what are you talking about? I would never notice that about you?" or " You have nothing to worry about, you're beautiful", These statements, yes can feel nice, however they never feel true when you are in a state of hatred to oneself. It almost feels embarrassing that someone would lie to you and know they they are just "trying to be nice". I find the duality in this experience to be fascinating, as it underlines how much everyone is exisiting in their own reality, their own reality, created by their mind. I think part of me didn't want to put this episode out because it meant that "I am not allowed to change a part of myself that I'm insecure about if I say it online" and the narrative of "you can't change your mind" and "you're a hippocratic" start playing out in my thoughts. I am not sure if I will choose to get plastic surgery for anything in my future, and I don't think there is a yes or no path, right or wrong highway, that works for anyone. I think it what really matters is how you communicate with your self, how you lift yourself up, and how you can support every part of you that needs your attention. However that looks, however that sounds, the commitment to nurturing your inner being is what matters most. If you feel like this episode resonates and helps you or another in any way, please share and reach out as we would love to share your journey in our future episodes.Lots of love, MimSupport the show
This one is just you and I having a one on one in my car.... in the Hollywood Hills. I talk about how we can normalise being the novelty in our lives, and how to stand out without trying to stand in our own way. I haven't had a one on one in a while and being in such a wild place has made me release the true gift that we all share, our individuality and our unique essence. You can change the location but you can't just your inner watcher who inspires the mind. You are the path less traveled, you are the familiar face that your uncertainty needs. You're so much powerful than you think you are. WHAT WE COVER IN THIS EP:- A little hot Hollywood gossip (not really that hot)- When does novelty turn into familiarity.- Searching for ourselves in the outside world.- How to honour your individuality.- Why is stability so scary?-How to become your own foundational source of stability.Love you guys, see you next week.xoxo Mim + THE IINSIDE OUT.Support the show
I got my palm read and the first thing she said was, "who abandoned you?" At first, I was shocked, and then I said "myself". In this solo ep, I unpack what it feels like to have abandonment wounds. I recently was faced with the hard truth that I not only constantly abandon myself but have for my whole life. I speak about where my abandonment wound came from, and how it manifested in almost every relationship, friendship and situation in my adult life.  If you have ever felt, unworthy, unseen, unheard or just not needed, this episode is for you. If you have said yes when you have wanted to say no or if you have ever not stood up for yourself because you dint want to be annoying, or have you put your partner or your friends on a pedestal because you don't feel equal? Well then yes, this episode is definitely for you. WHAT WE COVER IN THIS EP:- Meeting My Abandonment Wound - How Abandonment Trauma Manifests in Adulthood- Abandonment and Intimate Relationships- Eating Disorders and Abandonment Trauma (TW)- How to Overcome Abandonment - How to Reclaim Your Power- Moving into Belonging & Empowerment Love you guys so much and cannot thank you enough for supporting and listening to the pod, you make my heart shine every day and I couldn't be more grateful to share my experience with you all. If this episode resonates with anyone you know, please share and send them my details if they need support or guidance. I will preface, that I am not a professional in any way, I am speaking from experience and that's the only place where I can provide guidance or advice. Lots and lots of love, Mim and THE IINSIDE OUT Support the show
“It’s hearing the whispers in your heart, the longings of your soul, and the part of your mind that doesn’t need to figure anything out because you’re allowing yourself to be, what you are. And whether that’s the dancer, or the painter, or the sculpture, or the chef, or the architect, or the surfer, or the magician. Whatever it is, it’s a level of personal intimacy to honour that part of the self and let it be and let it shine.” - @moshetopol ✨This week on the pod, @moshetopol and I have a conversation. We speak on the path that leads to forgiveness, we talk about his beautiful heart-centred books that have impacted so many people's lives and we speak about how to feel to move into our truth, be integral with our words and how  to navigate spirituality in a technological world. This is a long one, so take in bite-size pieces if you wish. It’s got a lot to give and a lot of love and I couldn’t be happier introducing it to Moshe for the first time, and indeed not the last time.WHERE TO FIND MOSHE:WEBSITE: https://www.moshetopol.com/INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/moshetopol/Support the show
This slice of my mind is a solo episode on the journey where I talk about my experience in moving into trust, reclaiming my feminine power, and letting myself be confused.  I have been away for a while and I wanted to sit down and talk to you all, one on one, because I think we all have felt a similar way, at one stage of our lives,  we all have wanted to run away, wanted to live and ignore our calling. It's about having grace in times of uncertainty and allowing ourselves to fall softly. It's about coming back home within and reminding ourselves were there all along. WHAT WE COVER:- A lil catch up on where I have been.- What I have been feeling.- Running Away- Moving through fears.- The danger of distraction. Always with Love,  MIMI & THE IINSIDE OUT.INSTAGRAM@theiinsideout @mimimorrallSupport the show

So, I have decided I am never planning anything ever again. Well, I'm kidding, I'm probably going to have to but we leaning into the unknown from now on. I give you another solo chat with yours truly as it felt right and that seems to be the only stable thing at the moment. In this ep, I uncover the emotion of losing my Grandma, how to find beauty in times of turbulence and how to remove the expectations we have of ourselves, of others and of situations, in order to accept things as they are and,  let ourselves lean into the space of the unexpected. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. Because life doesn’t come with a game plan. Let your life be rolled like dice and still be able to see the beauty when you get put in jail twice in a row.I know life isn’t a game of monopoly but sometimes it feels like it, you can see go coming up and you’re excited to get your $200 then boom, back to jail counting your wishes until someone bails you out. But there is beauty in these times of punishment, in these times of struggle we get to see what is important, to let go of the control we try to have on our lives, to remove expectation and remember to expect the unexpected. Lean into the unknown, make friends with all sides of the dice and know that we cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we react: there is always space to expand, space to learn and see what these experiences can show us about ourselves. So for the next few days, and maybe the rest of your lifetime, try to practice expecting the unexpected. Your life will be a lot less turbulent when you stop trying to resist your existence.Always with Love, Mim and THE IINSIDE OUT. https://www.instagram.com/theiinsideout/https://www.instagram.com/mimimorrall/Support the show

Taking the first big ol' step into the darkness, I'm gonna spill the beans on why I'm here and how my Mum dying made me realise we don't know how to talk about death. Jenny, you're officially my first guest on the pod and pretty much the whole inspiration. I'm jealous. We open up the floodgates on why I hated myself growing up and how I was so deeply in denial of my upbringing. We going into the dark to start but it feels so damn good to rip off those bandaids and give my wounds some air to breathe. If you are struggling in any way shape or form, my inbox is always open and I am always here if you need to talk. Meeting your needs as an adult may seem like second nature. In my experience, it seems that this is not the case. Depending on the environment you grew up in, the situation, and family dynamic that mirrored your childhood, this greatly affects how you go about your day, your career, and how you commit to your goals and desires. I have realized that even if we try our hardest, push ourselves beyond belief, and run as far away as we can from our problems, they will always be reflected in our environment and what we manifest in our lives. The subconscious mind is the most powerful part of our makeup. This invisible presence plays an incredible role in our reality, and unfortunately, we are completely out of touch with how it affects us on a day-to-day basis. The self-limiting beliefs and conditioning created in our early stages of life affect us every single day. If we ignore the patterning that was created and try to bypass those beliefs, we will constantly be repeating patterns and manifesting situations in our lives to confront the same fears and beliefs that were created. By being honest with ourselves and surrendering to the idea that we might not know what is going on in our subconscious mind, that the belief system created through our upbringing may be running the show, we can be honest with our reality and have the awareness to make a change. It can take years of repeated issues and struggle to bring you to a breaking point where you cannot take it any longer. It takes so much work for our consciousness to decide to make a change. The beauty of neuroscience and epigenetics is the ability we have to rewire neural pathways to create change at a subconscious level and shift our reality now, even if the situation you're confronting is extremely triggering. Realizing that we have the power within to change our reality starts with realizing that we may know nothing at all.Right now, I am on the path of committing to my subconscious, confronting my fear of stability, and understanding why I find it so difficult to stay focused and feel extreme guilt when committing to my goals. Trauma can affect us in an array of ways, big or small. We all have elements of ourselves that are trying to get our attention, to bring us back to the authentic beings we were at birth. I hope this episode can help you shine a light on which area of your life wishes to come forward and how you can focus on your inner world to change your outer environment and achieve everything your soul desires.Always with lots and lots of love,Mimi + THE IINSIDE OUTSupport the show
I had the honour of chatting with Jess Sofarnos, a new friend and a true mirror of my experience through grieving. We met in a familiar setting, under very unfamiliar circumstances. Both our Mums had just unexcepectly passed, and we met at a party in the Summer, both trying to articulate the indescribable emotions that grief presented us with. The memory is similar to a mirage, much like the emotional roller coaster that is present in the early stages of grieving. A beautiful moment, to share, which led to my eagerness to hold space for her story on the podcast. Jess is an actor, film maker, all-round beautiful human, and creative powerhouse. I am so glad we had the chance to discuss, her new short film "Good Grief", navigating the grief journey while pursuing creative pursuits and what her life looks like now, almost three years since her Mother's passing. I couldn't recommend her new short film "Good Grief" enough, it is an immaculate representation of the inner compass of one that is grieving and how it can jolt you out of the reality that you once knew, catapulting you into a whole new world that you have never seen before. From the overwhelm, and the confusing spectrum of emotion that is felt, to finding solace in strangers, this short is worthy of its own ten-season, series. Today I am blessed to be in the presence of Sasha Lorusso-Zyskind. You may know him as Soliloquy, a multifaceted, multi passionate, old soul that speaks his wisdom through his musical gifts in rapping and production. A graphic designer, a spiritual teacher you didnt know you needed and an all round great guy that is going through the process of letting go of old stories and narratives that we all hold onto, leaning into a new version of himself that I'm grateful to unpack with you all. This episode truly has so much wisdom and truth intertwined and I recommend it best digested on a long drive or while doing something you love. I remember saying to Sasha that I am trying to keep my episodes to an hour and of course this one just was not going to fit in that restriction, as it was never meant to. We discuss Sasha's new unrealised album that I had the pleasure of listening to and the intricacies that came about through writing it over the past few years. A true piece of poetry, I am honoured to get a sneak peak into an album that I know you're all going to love. We open up about the struggle of vulnerability, sharing your truth and the fears that come along the way. Sasha truly has so much wisdom to share and I am so excited for you all to experience his knowledge just as much as I did. WHAT WE COVERED IN THIS EP:- Being a successful rapper at a young age and the effects of that on his journey.- The process of death and rebirth and where Sasha is within that process. - Sasha's connection to spirituality and how that impacts his work and everyday life.- The poetry and venerability in his new album- How letting go of your old self can be a challenging yet caiartict process. - Tools on how to access your potential. - How Sasha's early childhood trauma effected his music and lyricism. - What Sasha's childhood looked like and how he connects with that space now.- How to become less judgement of yourself and step into your truth. - How to be compassionate for yourself and others in sticky situations and relationships. Alrighty, y'all going to need a pen and paper. This episode is DENSE. And not like the Earth that we walk on dense, but the brain that walks in your body dense. We are all learning today and for good reason. Astrocartography? So what the F is it? Who, when, what and why are we talking about this long word that looks a little like Astrology and a lil like Geography? You can just wait and listen. Well actually I'll give you a lil clue because there's a lot to get through... It's pretty much your Astrological Birth Chart but reflected onto the World MAP! NOW I KNOW.... You're thinking... How could Astrology be this insanely endless and confusing? You're right, it's a little wild and can be overwhelming but thats why Helena is here. To break down the complexity of this science for your ease and your ears. Yes, there is a lot to take in, but Helena has such a beautiful way of articulating the art of Astrocartography so we can all take the baby steps along our souls treasure map. Helena is an Astrologer, Astrocartographer and all round Angel. She is a Taurus sun, Leo moon on the MC, and our favourite (I'm bias) Scorpio Rising. Currently living in Berritz France (jealous), living on a Mercury IC line (we'll learn what that means dw) .
