Savage Tales of Eberron Podcast

The crew of the Crown & Bell works diligently in pounding the streets of Tantamar to try and find out what has happened to Captain Aarland and his crew. Torlan and Lorina find out that much of the crew of the Heart of the Crown was not captured. Daina and Kae head to the town square to see what can be learned. Kae is so excited to run into Mycroft, an old professor of his, that is the ship mage for Captain Aarland. They learn that Countess Ermena ir'Krannau from Karrnath paid to have Aarland captured and imprisoned. So now with the crews combine to learn what they can of the prison to try and free Aarland before the Karrns come to collect their prize. The Crown & Bell makes haste from Regalport to get to Tantamar in time to try and find Captain Aarland. On the journey Trucco learns more about his magical harpoon while being saved by Owlbear and while getting rewarded by Saade. Kae opens up to the crew a bit surprised by the reaction or lack there of. Torlan shares the site of Dreadhold at night with Trucco. Daina ponders where House Deneith blood came into her family and confronts Torlan knows about that, all the while finding Shaastron uncomfortably underfoot. As they near Tantamar, the ship beats off a sahuagin ambush, only to get into port to learn that Captain Aarland has been thrown into the prison in Tantamar on this week's episode of Mourners of Lhazaar. The Mourners go to the Rusty Anchor to have an informal meeting. Daina gets to meet with High Prince Ryger trying to convince him the value of working with the Crew of the Crown & Bell as well as to broker a trade for Kae's freedom. After sharing some of why Kae knows so much about Captain Aarland, he gives the Crown & Bell a thorough once over. Trucco uses some leverage against Shastroon, while Torlan shares how Mister Lagraa's blade actually was originally a Cyran blade. The Mourners and Patch (guest player Ian) put their powers of persuasion to the test convincing Trucco’s old “friend” Laurina to join the crew.
