For a fifth season, Dying Alive has returned. Pat & Jesse man the ship in the season premiere talking about the roster heading into the 2022-23 season, expectations, and of course, your correspondences!
It’s been a long time coming but The Athletic Pittsburgh’s Rob Rossi joins Pat and Jesse. They talk about Rob’s battle with Functional Neurological Disorder and the importance of mental health, the state of the Penguins going into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the future of the franchise. At the end, Rossi quizzes Pat & Jesse about the NHL’s class of 1967.
The boys discuss Brad Marchand, Casey DeSmith and maybe needing to trade for a backup goalie, then Shayna Goldman of The Athletic joins the boys to talk New York Rangers, the “power kill” and the Women’s Olympic Hockey tournament so far. The show rounds out with your correspondences!
Rich Miller of Pensblog joins Jesse, Mike, and Pat to talk about the news that the Pensblog is hanging it up after nearly 20 years, the memories from that run, the impact it had on Penguins fans, and so much more.
