We are back this week with another action packed episode! We start the show with our Don Michele competition winner and also announce this weeks competition. There is no Rockets Talk this week, however we quickly look at the game against the North Ayrshire Wild. Junior updates us on 2-Way watch and an earlier segment of On This Day. We then review our games against the Clan and the Giants before rounding off the show with our Home and Home preview of Fife Flyers games.
It's a birthday episode for Senior who turns 60 today!! We discuss Kris Inglis hitting 400 games for the Stars in all-EIHL competitions. We look at the Dundee Rockets opening game of the season and 2-Way Watch to start the show. We then review the games against Giants, Clan and Flyers before previewing this weekends Challenge Cup games against the Clan and Giants again. We announce this weeks competition before Junior rounds off the show with On This Day.
This week we get ready for the start of the new season. We look ahead at the Dundee Rockets opening game of the season and announce our first winner of the Don Michele home game competition. We discuss last weekends games against the Fife Flyers and then preview our upcoming Challenge Cup games against the Belfast Giants, Glasgow Clan and Fife Flyers. Senior has a birthday shoutout and Junior wraps up the show with On This Day.
An unexpected twist in this weeks recording as we have ANOTHER pre-season show! This week we review last weeks game against the Concordia Stingers and then preview our upcoming "Pre-Season Challenge Cup Friendly" against the Fife Flyers home and away. Junior introduces this season's competition and rounds of the show with On This Day.
On Part 2 of the Pre-Season episode, we welcome special Guest, and Dundee Rockets legend, Chris Brinster to the show. Chris talks about the campaign to get Tom Stewart into the British Hockey Hall of Fame and also about his career with the Rockets and his time with this weekend opponents, the Concordia Stingers. We then preview this weekends game against the Stingers before Junior rounds of the show with On This Day.
This week we have the first of our 2-part pre-season episodes. We take a look at our new roster for the 2025-2026 season before our game, discussing returns, new players, new 2-way players and what we think our lines will be.
This week Junior and Senior catch-up with Concordia Stingers Head Coach Marc-Andre Element to discuss the Stingers, playing the Dundee Stars back in 2008 and to preview the upcoming pre-season game.
We dedicate this weeks episode to Gary Kelly, who sadly passed away. Gary was "one of our own" who would do everything and anything for everyone. Gary will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him and our thoughts are with all of his family, friends, teammates and fans.We are back from our summer break and we start off with Rockets Talk and look ahead at their season and fixtures with the addition of 2 new teams to the SNL. We then turn our attention to the Ins and Outs at the Stars before reviewing our fixture list for the new EIHL campaign.
It's the End of the Season show show! Junior and Senior bring you a review of the playoff games against the Belfast Giants. Senior gives his final "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" of the season. Junior brings us On This Day, his Honourable Mention, 2-Way Watch and Rockets talk to start the show as well. The show is rounded off with the guys End of Season Awards!
