This week on Gaming News Weekly we've got a lot of big news to chat about, kicking off with a bunch of new games including Slay the Spire 2, Scott Pilgrim EX, Esoteric Ebb, Marathon & Pokemon Pokopia. Then in our News of the Week we're talking about the newly announced Next Generation Xbox console, Project Helix. Gaming News Weekly is back from our break with a super fun show! There's not much news this week so we're taking a look ahead to the most exciting games coming in 2026. This is our most anticipated games of 2026!
It's the end of the year and this week we're not talking about news. We're talking about our Games of the Year! These are the games that we enjoyed the most, the ones that we put the most time in, the ones that stuck with us. We each give our five favorite games from 2025. Take a listen, let us know if yours is included and if not, what are they?
The Game Awards just took place and we've got a lot to talk about! First we take a look at new games Death Howl, Skate Story and Terminator 2D: No Fate. Then we take a deep dive into The Game Awards, who were the big winners, the best performances and most importantly, what new games were announced? We go through our ten favorite announcements from the show.
