In a personal statement, Reed announced he won't compete on LIV anymore and plans to return to the PGA Tour as a past champion for the 2027 season, eligible to start as a non-member later this year. The PGA Tour confirmed his path, noting his resignation in 2022 keeps him eligible without bans, and he can pursue full status via the DP World Tour where he's an Honorary Lifetime Member. Fresh off a four-shot win at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Reed thanked his 4Aces teammates and LIV, calling himself a traditionalist born to play PGA events.
