Final episode of 2021. Recapping the big mountain road trip for the Pokes, who probably expected the Rockies to be a bit rockier. John Denver is full of it!
Also national title convos, recruiting convos, and more!
Pokes are wrestling at Air Force and at Wyoming on the same day... and driving the nearly 200 miles between the two schools to achieve this... and then heading over to the other side of the Rockies to take on the Utah Valley Wolverines. Should be a great weekend of OSU wrestling!
What does Bedlam mean to you? To Oklahoma? To wrestling in general? A rivalry matchup between two of the 5 greatest programs in the sport... very lopsided, but tons of fun. Does it matter? What does the future hold for the rivalry? Let's talk about it.
Let's also talk about how much the Pokes are going to beat the sooners by on Sunday.
Dual is at 5pm CST. Tickets are $15 at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, OK. National broadcast will be on ESPNU.
It's Bedlam week! And that is all that is going on. Discussing the current state of the rivalry, where it should be, where it could be, and what might need to happen to reignite some passion in this thing.

Also also, Yojiro Uetake is hands down one of the two greatest NCAA wrestlers of all time. Why do people think that Dan Gable was better? Because Iowa creates their own history narratives. Disproving that notion in this episode.

Jeez. This reads as a eulogy for the prior OSU staff. That's fine, but it doesn't redirect into what should be a mountain of excitement. Scott didn't exactly light it up over at UNC. New blood with new coaching and one of the best to do it maybe should be the direction here. This is literally best case scenario for the program. Mourn, but let's fire it up! Hope the bitterness moves on quickly.
