Based at KU Leuven, we are the worlds first Interdisciplinary Centre for Ethics, Regulation and Integrity in Sport (iCERIS). The iCERIS Podcast welcomes guests from around the world and examines topics related to sport ethics, integrity, governance, law and criminology. The podcast is hosted by Dr Luke Cox who invites guests including: academics, policy makers, stakeholders, and athletes. The podcast intends to share novel insight into historical and contemporary threats to and within sport.

On the first episode of the iCERIS Podcast series, iCERIS director Prof Mike McNamee, appears as our first guest. Prof McNamee is a pioneer of the field of Sport Ethics. His work has been funded by various national research councils and the European Commission, in topics ranging from anti-doping, and eating disorders in sports, and human enhancement ethics and policy. He is Programme Director of MAiSI, an Erasmus+ funded MA in Sport Ethics and Integrity. Mike has served as an expert ethicist for a number of organisations including UN Office on Drugs and Crime, and is Chair of the Expert Ethics Group of the World Anti-Doping Agency. On this episode, Mike talks about his lifelong career within academia and the establishment of the worlds first Interdisciplinary Centre for Ethics, Regulation and Integrity in Sport (iCERIS).
