Moments of worship declared the holiness and sovereignty of God over the nations, with prayers of thanksgiving for His victory, love, and enduring light, especially during challenging times. Collective gratitude was expressed for the spiritual heritage and the courage of previous generations. The meeting resonated with the heart of the Global Watch—to see the spiritual and governmental wings of the ekklesia working together to advance God’s purposes on earth.
Pastor Tony Sperandeo delivered a deeply moving update from Israel, blending prophetic urgency with pastoral compassion. Sharing from 1 Thessalonians 5 and Isaiah 61, he called the Global Watch to stand with Israel amid rising anti-Semitism, urging believers to assist Jewish people in making Aliyah and to pray for national repentance and healing. Testimonies from hostage families conveyed hope and awakening, while Ps. Tony’s outreach to the Druze community and his “healing through creativity” ministry demonstrated tangible love in action. The session concluded with communion and united prayer for Israel’s restoration, unity, and awakening. Opening worship was written by him a number of years ago. Since October 7, 2023, it has become one of the most popular songs sung throughout Israel.
