But what we often miss is that our own personal sin is to blame for most of the problems in our life. In this episode, we explain what sin is, what it does to us and others, and what happens when we don't see it in our lives. We pray that God would give you eyes to see and ears to hear what He has to say...Thank you for listening! To partake in The Lord's Supper is one of the most sacred moments of our Christian fellowship. It is so serious, that our Lord instituted it as a replacement for the Passover meal to usher in the new covenant on the night before He was crucified. But as Christians, do we really understand it? Do we know who should partake of it and who should pass on it? Are we reverencing it with humility?  Are we coming clean? The answers to these and other questions await as Episode 36 gets us clear on the subject!Thank you for listening! In this episode we break down the results of this lethargy, and give some practical tips on how to reverse that trend.Thank you for listening! When we talk about marriage, we talk about it from the perspective of both married and single people. If you are married, God can transform your marriage from a SELFISH one to a SELFLESS one. And if your single and desire to be married, it's even more important to start off SELFLESS.  In this episode, we break down the dance of a Godly marriage from Ephesians chapter 5, with scripture leading the way, as we fight through the world, the culture, and our own sin. We think that if you consider what God has to say, you will benefit in more ways that you can count. Happy listening!Thank you for listening! The word Devastating means highly destructive or damaging. And that is exactly the affect the LGBTQ movement has on not only the people within it, but on those around it. That includes immediate and extended family, children in schools, the business world, and yes, especially Christians and The Church. In this episode we break it down into 3 parts. First, we will state clearly and plainly what the Bible says about it. Second, we will discuss how God wants us to respond and treat people within the movement, especially people that are close to us. And finally, we will discuss how the LGBTQ movement as a whole should be dealt with from a Christian perspective. We pray that all who listen will have ears to hear what God has to say. Thank you for listening! Sometimes we pray so fervently for something, and it doesn't happen. But it's not as if God doesn't hear, He does, but he may not answer. And He may NEVER answer... or maybe He is waiting to answer. God is Love. It says so in 1 John 4 and verse 16. And God has a standard of love that He expects from us, and commands us to follow. And it's all laid out in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. The trouble is, we all fall short of this standard. So we invite you on a journey through this passage to see where we can all glorify God in how we love others. Thank you for listening! Actually, Jesus came to serve, and not be served. And that should be our attitude as church members. Service comes in a variety of ways, and its not always so obvious. So we invite you to consider the many ways you can serve the kingdom and the saints. We don't have salvation based on our service, but our service is an indication of our salvation. So what is God's Will? This subject is a source of confusion for many Christians. How do we know what it is? Where can we find it? How does God reveal it to us? There is a very narrow and specific answer to these questions, and it may not be what you think it is. We invite you to shed any pre-conceived ideas and come see what GOD wants you to know about His Will!Thank you for listening! In Part 2 of Walk by the Spirit, we see the Fruit that the Holy Spirit produces when we move along in the sanctification process. As true believers, these traits will be evident in us to some degree as we walk along side God. As easy as it is to walk in our flesh, it is just as difficult to bear the fruit of Gods good work in us. We pray that the awareness of how to honor Him in our walk will convict our flesh and help our branch produce fruit worthy of the manner in which we are called.Thank you for listening!
