After playing an excellent 1st period the Jets slowed and the Canadiens took over and rolled to a 5-1 win as the Olympic break arrives which should put an end to any playoff talk.
While it was a heck of a game, it was the Stars that took it in OT by a final score of 4-3 over the Jets after Thomas Harley scored the game-winning goal. Connor Hellebuyck was rather upset and upon reviewing the video it appears to be because the strap came off his helmet and he likely expected the ref to blow the play dead.
The Jets were down by one heading into 3rd which all season long has been a recipe for disaster but not today in Florida. Winnipeg scores twice in final frame to win it 2-1. Eric Comrie excellent in the victory.

The Panthers scored twice in the shootout and take it 2-1 over the Jets. The home team did fight back to earn at least a point but they really cannot afford to be letting points slip away.
With a special teams win the Jets were able to get back on track defeating their Central Division rival Blues by a final score of 3-1. They improve to 4-2 in the second game of back-to-backs.
Lots of excitement in Manitoba for the Heritage Classic in October of 2026 when the Jets host the Canadiens. Before the game between Winnipeg and St. Louis at CLC we heard from Jets alumni captain Blake Wheeler and Habs alumni captain Mike Keane and learned who would be on the preliminary roster.
When the news stated to filter out about the Jets potentially being involved in next season’s Heritage Classic it immediately spawned the conversation about who would be participating in the alumni game. It wasn’t even confirmed until early December that they were in but that didn’t stop the speculation.Worth noting that an alumni game wasn’t even mentioned as potentially part of the festivities. This will be the third time Winnipeg has been involved and the second time they’ve hosted in Manitoba. Back in 2016 they played the Oilers with both an alumni game and a regular season contest. In 2019 when they took on the Flames in Regina it was just a regular season one.Today, the team the preliminary Jets alumni roster.
The Jets suffer their first loss in six games as the Hawks prevail in an emotional game for Jonathan Toews in his return to the Windy City. Chicago takes it 2-0.
Last season the Leafs ended the Jets win streak and today they do it again winning it in OT as the comeback to win. The four-game win streak is now a five- game points streak.
Two hours of Jets talk coming your way as we discuss the state of the NHL club of Winnipeg.
If you watched the the stretch in the 1st where Winnipeg didn’t get a shot for 14 minutes there is no way you would have said the Jets would have held a 6-1 lead after 40 minutes. But they exploded for three goals in the 1st and three goals in the 2nd to take a stranglehold on the game. They gave up one more late in the 3rd but the run continues as they had now won four straight.
The Jets are going streaking as they win their third straight defeating the Islanders in a wild hockey game by a final score of 5-4.
For the first time in nearly two months the Jets have back-to-back wins as they defeat the Devils 4-3 picking up their 10th victory at home. Most importantly the 2nd and 4th lines are becoming regular contributors on the scoresheet.
