Adulting is a challenge in this episode I will be discussing that and my recent job experiences including the one I just recently had.
Discrimination is the worst experience someone can go through in a workplace. It can take a toll on our mental health, wanting to be at work, and it can definitely affect our pockets. As a person of colour you never get the benefit of the doubt to express your concerns, get your side of story heard, or much less feel included when it comes to equal rights and opportunities in the workplace. If you’re compliant, they get upset, you’re defensive they get upset. You know you are already set up for failure but you try anyways because you want to win. But you know in reality you will never win regardless of how good you’re.
Heyyyy guys I’m just here updating you guys with what’s going on in my life and talking about a few things.
It’s so important that as a human being living on this earth full of so many secrets, you always take time and spend it doing research. These are questions that need answers honestly. If the first human was basically a person of colour, what does that mean for the physicality of Jesus? When doing my own research the answers I saw had me astounded, I was very surprised at what I saw on my screen when looked up my questions. What I saw on my screen had me rethinking my whole entire existence. I honestly don’t know what to think anymore. It’s like you ask yourself, who have you been worshiping this whole time? Who has your ancestors been worshiping this whole time? Do you even know the religion you should be worshiping exclusively? I put all my questions together like a puzzle and the pieces all connected because it made a lot of sense. They say if you don’t have haters, that means you ain’t poppin. So what does mean for the black community? How are human beings so evil to even paint such a narrative like that and brain wash other people for centuries?
Taking pictures today is completely different from taking pictures now. You used to take one picture back then and it was fine, you were more confident with yourself and obviously had more self love, and lastly you had nobody judging you. You were just yourself on social media and society wasn’t pressuring you to be someone you’re not. Now a days you take a picture and you have to take at least ten more because you need to find a perfect one that is ‘Instagram worthy’. Honestly social media was never like this either. People would see a post and just like and comment or they would scroll past, nobody would leave rude comments or say rude things about peoples posts because nobody never cared about validation from other people. Nor tried to put on a facade for a bunch of people that probably don’t like them on social media. As a society we have become such perfectionist when it comes to social media to a point where it’s ruining our younger generation’s mindsets and how they view themselves.
School is a good teacher for some but for majority of people it isn’t. Schoo doesn’t really prepare you for the real world it just prepares you for failure which all the time but majority of the time. So many of us are going through things at home, mentally, physically, emotionally, even financially with family or ourselves and we still have to get up and go to school like every thing is ok. School doesn’t teach you how to love your self, much less love other people. School doesn’t teach you the basics of life. Like for example how to buy a house, how to build credit, how to maintain an apartment, how to maintain a car, and how to take care of ourselves and our families. School teaches the bare minimum when it comes to life. So many people go to college/ university trying to attain a degree/ certification but can’t even guarantee we will get the job/ results we want. Continue going to school but never forget to be your authentic self and embrace your individuality. As soon as yo I enter high school you completely forget about who you are because you’re so used to being controlled or being told what to do.
Life is definitely worth living. Not every one will agree. Some people will say it is and some people will say it isn’t. The people who are saying it isn’t probably aren’t where they want to be in their lives. They also just aren’t happy in general. Life is about experiencing, learning, and growing. Life isn’t always going to be easy so if you aren’t where you want to be or you’re going through something mentally, emotionally, financially. Don’t be scared to talk to the creator. Or fix your situation on your own. Make the best out of your life even if it’s not the best. Life isn’t only worth living if you have monetary gains. It worth living depending on how happy you’re with your self and the people around you. Also if you’re happy with the decisions you’ve made and the people you hang around with.
No one truly knows their authentic selfs because our souls are trapped in a body that doesn’t even belong to us. When we die our body’s become decomposed of and our souls travel somewhere else. We spend most of our lives getting to know other people and getting to know them deeply but never ourselves. We are so used to being on some one else’s program and schedule that we don’t even take the time to understand ourselves deeply. So many of us have problems in life because we are to busy trying to be like every one else and trying to fit in. Instead of being our authentic selves, we would rather be someone we are not. We go through high school not even knowing what feeds our souls and what makes us happy and then when we leave high school some of us are so lost because of all that time wasted. So many of us spend our entire lives just living and not enjoying. You only have one life to live, you should always try to make the best of our your situation. If you’re not where you want to be in life, it’s time for deep self reflection.
The human tongue is the very first powerful organ than second is the human brain. We should always be careful of what we wish for with our tongues because once we get it. We start to realize it’s not what we had intended for our selves or it’s not what we thought we needed in the first place. This relates a lot to relationships. We see someone we’re interested in and we say “I want that person” we get the person, we’re finally having conversation with that person and building a connection with that person and after a while we realize the person isn’t what we expected. We as human beings don’t realize the things we say to someone can affect their mental health and even cause them to harm themselves. Someone can hit you and you will feel temporary pain, you will eventually forget about the slap you received or the kick that hurt for a couple of hours. But you won’t forget that one person in Elementary school who called you that mean name, and it sticks to you forever. Yo use that pain to either improve yourself or you let it destroy you. It depends on the person, every one has their own limits. We as human beings forget that other human beings have limits and we forget that what we say will not only affect that persons future but also our own future, because what comes around goes around.
It’s so important that we as young people spend as much time as we can with the older people in our lives. Most importantly our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles. If you have a good parents you should cherish every single minute you spend with them. Even though your parents get on your nerves sometimes you should always remember that one day they won’t be there. Some people grew up without their parents at such a young age, and find it truly hard to fill that void. We get older and lose that attachment we once had to our parents and forget they’re the realest ones on our teams. If you have parents/ grandparents go give them a hug, call them, or even go have conversation with them. You never know when they might go.
Poor people always steal from each other instead of helping each other. You never see a poor person stealing from a rich person, why? Rich people have lawyers, and accountants handling their money, so it would be really hard to steal from them. Poor people on the other hand don’t have those privileges so it’s easier to get away with stealing from them. A rich person wouldn’t even be looking for another way to make money because they already make enough money. You can’t get rich from stealing from people. That’s not how life works. People will blame their own environment as to why they’re still living the way they’re living but will never blame the people who they keep around them. Like their friends for example, your own friends will watch you fall in life and won’t even help you up. That’s how they keep you and them poor, they don’t want to watch you do better in life than them. Blaming your environment is a way of you saying you also lack motivation and drive to want better for your self. You can also keep your self poor by having a poor mindset instead of a growth mindset. You don’t have to be poor if you stop surrounding yourself with poor and thinking poorly.
Not every one is good at running a business and that’s ok. You don’t have to be like every one else. The world needs doctors, lawyers, pedestrians, nurses, and teachers. There is nothing wrong with someone else paying you. A lot of people are on social media offering the same service or product, and the marketing is trash, and the prices for the services or products is outrageous. A boss should never steal from their clients/customers. If you want your business to flourish forever you should pick better prices and take as much constructive criticism as possible. If your friends see you running your business and seeing that you’re embarrassing yourself on social media without telling you those aren’t your friends. If your business is just a side hustle then this a doesn’t apply to you, but most likely you want it to be your main source of income one day. But if your business is your main source of income be more passionate about it. A lot of people who want to be their own boss don’t even do it because they like what they do, they just do it because everyone else is doing it or they just don’t want to work. Technology has ruined the minds of many people today.
Nobody goes on social media to post quotes and memes that they have no relation to. I think every single quote someone posts has some passive aggressiveness in it, and it is directed to somebody or a situation they were/are in real life. If you do post quotes all day and your excuse for doing this is because you have nobody to talk to or you’re just posting quotes and memes just to post them. You clearly have nothing to do with your life. People who say what they post on social media is not related to who they’re in real life make no sense because of you have a different life, which means it’s more thrilling why would you spend most of your day posting all these quotes and memes? Women love throwing shade, and they do it to their own friends. If a women is posting all these quotes about fake friends they’re most likely directing it to somebody, and hoping they see it or even care. But most of the time the person who is being shaded doesn’t even care. Every thing you put on your social media platform is there because you either relate to it, you want someone to see it, or it’s something you want in life. There probably is small percentage of people who just post quotes to post quotes but majority of people have a reason as to why most of the quotes and memes they post has a specific theme.
Black women have just as much as a hard time fitting the beauty standard, and it’s been like that for years. Now all of a sudden black women’s features are the beauty standard. Even though curves have been the beauty stand for women for years. Now every one wants the other body features that comes with it. It’s so sad that black woken are still deemed unattractive even though our features are basically what every one wants. Women feel the need to spend thousands of dollars just to get the body they want and even fly out to different countries to get the body they want cheaper. Girls down to the age of twelve who have social media accounts already don’t feel beautiful because they don’t have the body nor face they see portrayed as beauty on Instagram. At such a young age having body dysmorphia already and aren’t even fully developed into a women yet. Every thing on Instagram is fake and the beauty standard has caused a lot of women to always feel like they have to go to the extreme to feel beautiful. The Eurocentric beauty standard timeline has a lot to do with this modern issue addressed to women. Over the years curves has always been the standard, but the standard has always changed.
If every women and man walking on this earth is beautiful why is there a beauty standard? God created every one beautiful and god for sure doesn’t like ugly so why would he create ugly? Society and men has made it so hard for specifically women to live themselves because of this toxic beauty standard. When I think of beauty standard I mostly think of women not really men. There is a beauty standard for men but it’s not pushed on them as much as the beauty standard for women is pushed on women. Women are expected to look basically like fantasies all the time, and no human can look like a fantasy all the time. Every women was created beautifully but every women also has flaws. Women have acne, body acne, acne scars, discolouration on their face and their body, hair obviously, and we don’t have perfect body’s. But because we are pressured to look this certain way we do take certain repercussions to attain this type of standard. For example going under the knife, using filters heavily, using photoshopping, using face-tune, and obviously enhancing ourselves. It would have been better honestly if the beauty standard was attainable for women. But it’s not. The beauty standard is specifically toxic for young ladies and women of colour.
People need to stop maintaining connections that aren’t there. There are so many people who are in relationships or have friendships that are over due for throwing away. We as humans take so long to notice that a friend or significant other in our lives is no good nor brings any good into our lives but want to keep them around because most of us feed off of the negative instead of the positive. If you’re someone who likes to see the good in people you will struggle with this. You will like the potential you see in the person trying to paint them as a good person, but that will stop you from seeing the real person behind that false person you have painted them as. Your time is borrowed, imagine borrowing something and still wasting it. It’s a lot of people now a days wasting their own time and those peoples time who they think has a ‘connection’ with them. If you can’t even be your authentic self around your friend or partner, why would you want to maintain something like that? You’re blocking your own blessings by maintaining an imaginary ‘connection’.
Players are just people who end up playing themselves in the end. They don’t even exist. They don’t even play a role in this world. They hurt all the good people who are meant to help them in some way and realize a couple years later when they finally decide to change their ways that there aren’t no good people left. They hurt all the good people and wonder why every relationship they get into after having their little fun with peoples hearts doesn’t work out in their favour. You can have stability if you ruined how many chances of having stability. There’s so many broken people walking around because of these kinds of people that exist. Imagine thinking hurting people is the right way of life. It’s so hard to find good people now a days, and your the reason why those same good people are scared of finding stable, long lasting relationships. How do you sleep at night knowing you’re wasting your time and so many other peoples time? Be careful of how you treat people and live your life, it comes back to you in so many different ways.
Why are so many people horrible at conversations in this day and age? People never have nothing to talk about but are so quick to say people are the problem when it comes to having and/or holding a conversation with them. People only talk about shallow topics now days, which includes celebrity gossip, gossip about others, or even one another’s business. Nobody truly builds a strong bond today because nobody truly has good conversation with one another. Hence why relationships don’t last because there is no emotional connection. Y’all don’t even know how to stimulate each other’s minds before y’all stimulate each other’s bodies in bed. Always remember to be yourself it can get you far in life. If you have to proclaim you’re different you’re not actually different. So many people now a days lack individuality and wonder why their conversations are so shallow.
Do you consider your self average? A lot of people now a days don’t want to accept their reality of where they stand in today’s society. There’s trillions of people on this earth and you’re still single for what reason? Most likely because you don’t want what you can get because they aren’t up to your standards. A lot of people wouldn’t die alone if they just accepted the type of lifestyle they live. I’m pretty sure no one wants to die alone much less go to bed alone. But unfortunately there is people who won’t be with somebody because they think they’re better than them or they can do better than them. This is because people go on social media and see these lavish lives these above average people live and think they can attain someone like that in real life. Social media is a big influence on today’s society. Social media really has people thinking because of a couple followers and likes they’re automatically not average and they shouldn’t be attracting a certain type of person. Wake up to reality people and your love life will improve.
Why is it that we spend our whole entire lives paying for stuff we will never see again? We’re born out of no where forced to go to school, and we do all of that just to get a good paying job just to pay for every thing we need to survive when we can just enjoy life without paying so much bills. People would be less stressed out and be more happier with life if bills didn’t exist. Why spend your whole life unhappy chasing money to survive when humans should be surviving for free? No one asked to be here nor was it anyone’s plan to be here. The sad part is you don’t have an option, if you don’t pay to live, you will pass away. You will never see your big house, expensive vehicles, or nice clothes again when you pass away, but you need it to live a good comfortable life. You will pass that on to your children and so on and so on. Women shouldn’t even have to pay for bras. There is really someone out there making profit off of someone’s body part that they didn’t even ask to have. What makes it even worse is if you have a big cup size and they just become more expensive. Bras should be free!
