170 - Get Naked

170 - Get Naked

2025-11-3023:37

This is episode 170 of the Baehr and Curadh Podcast. We are going to talk about being naked. The University of Washington’s locker rooms became gender-inclusive. Nudity is not permitted. UC Davis and some YMCA facilities are following suit. Some of the YMCA locker rooms are not gender-inclusive, but they still have banned nudity. Writer and academic Jacob Beckert wrote a piece about it in The Atlantic. "For more than a century," Beckert writes, "the cultural norm in the United States was that nudity was acceptable — at least within same-sex environments. Over the past couple of decades or so, that idea has largely dissolved." "Today, the only naked bodies that many Americans will likely ever see are their own, a partner's, or those on a screen," he writes. "Gone are our unvarnished points of physical comparison — the ordinary, unposed figures of other people." But is that a bad thing? In the past, men and boys would swim naked together, at the YMCA and in nature. The most salient point — about what a loss of nudity might do to body image — is also his most interesting one, and gay readers had plenty to say about it in a Reddit thread. "The skewed sense that you get about male anatomy if you only ever see naked bodies in porn is yet another stressor for young guys." Many of the gay men on the thread also talked about being terrified of public nudity in high school due to their fear of arousal. "I played football as a teen and we all showered after. It was embarrassing and I didn’t wanna get caught checking out my teammates, but I still did." Beckert wrote, "Rather than finding new ways to conceal ourselves, Americans need to reimagine the naked body — seeing it not as a natural fact of human life."
169 - The Paranormal

169 - The Paranormal

2025-11-1619:21

This is episode 169 of the Baehr and Curadh Podcast. We are going to talk about the paranormal. Paranormal Partners. We got an email about the paranormal. What is your earliest or most significant paranormal experience? Where did you grow up, and did that affect your beliefs or experiences? What's your origin story in the paranormal field? Have you ever seen a UFO, a cryptid, or a ghost? Can you describe a time you felt like you were being watched or stalked? What was it like to have an experience with a haunted house or object? How did you begin investigating the paranormal? What methods do you use for investigation? What do you think is the cause of these phenomena? Do you believe in ghosts, and why? What's your favorite paranormal story you've heard?
This is episode 168 of the Baehr and Curadh Podcast. We are going to talk about stupid things Christians believe. Pascals Wager. Their deity is an all-knowing, all-powerful god that created the Universe. God had to sacrifice himself on a crucifix to undo sins done by the people he created in his own image. "Since Jesus died on the cross for our sins, dare we make his martyrdom meaningless by not committing them?" God required the crucifixion instead of just forgiving everyone. And this is after he killed all humans and animals except the ones on the ark to purge all sin on the planet. Transubstantiation. "The transformation of ordinary bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ while still maintaining the appearance of ordinary bread and wine." The concept that just to have a lustful thought is a sin. God gave you free will, but everything is according to his plan. Despite being made in god's perfect image, we still have to circumcise the foreskin of the penis. Everything that is good comes from God, and everything that is bad comes from Satan. This all-powerful god allows innocent little children to suffer hunger and disease though they did nothing to deserve it. That everything in the Bible is the inspired words of god. That after counting the descendants of Adam and Eve in the Bible, the earth is only about 6,000 years old. That God just made the earth "appear" to be millions of years old (with dinosaur bones and everything) to test our faith. God darkened the Egyptian Pharos heart to give himself a reason to commit mass infanticide. Only your Christian sect is right. It is the one truth to get into heaven. There are thousands of branches but YOURS is the only true religion. Men making love together is a mortal sin, and they should be put to death for it. That without the reward of heaven and the punishment of hell, people would not be good on their own. There is only one true god, and the rest are imposters.

Gay men in movies are violent and murderous. Gay men are indecisive. Bisexuals are gay, but afraid to admit it. Gay men are promiscuous. Gay men cannot commit to a relationship. Lesbians are always butch. Gay men are never butch. Gay men don't like sports. Gay men love the theater. Gay actors can never be a leading man. Gay men are over dramatic. Lesbian women fall in love too easily. Gay men have a better fashion sense than heterosexuals. Gay men love shopping. Gay men love disco. Gay men have limp wrists. Gay men have a gaydar and can instantly recognize other gay men. Gay men are hedonistic and hypersexual. Gay men are always lusting after heterosexual men. Gay men are festive and party too much. Once they come out of the closet, gay men can never go back. Gay men abuse recreational drugs. Gay men always have a "fag hag" friend. Gay men are pedophiles. Gay haters are secretly gay themselves. Lesbians always stay friends with exes. Drag queens are transexuals. Gay men gravitate to cities and avoid urban communities. Gay men are better educated.

162 - Ballegation

162 - Ballegation

2025-09-1418:26

This is episode 162 of the Baehr and Curadh podcast. We are going to talk about ballegation. We have been uploading episodes of the podcast to YouTube. They say that the episodes have been viewed 318 times. The number of people who viewed an episode for more than three minutes is 0. The average time people watch each episode is 48 seconds. I am sure that the national news media will obsessively cover the murder of every pod caster like this. Fox News says Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin lived with his transgender partner. Bureau officials confirmed that Tyler Robinson, 22, was in a "romantic relationship" with the unnamed person, who is a male transitioning to a female, and that they shared an apartment in Saint George, Utah. Those FBI officials told Fox News Digital that Robinson's partner is fully cooperating with the FBI's investigation. DOJ weighs firearm restrictions for transgender Americans after Minnesota church shooting. Let's pursue this line of thought. Since the vast majority of those who are performing mass shootings are heterosexual, we should ban heterosexuals from owning guns. Then stop being evil! Donald Trump is once again invoking religion in his fundraising appeals, sending an email (once again) with the subject line "I want to try and get to Heaven." I'll bet he does. In a bizarre and inflammatory segment on The Tucker Carlson Show, conservative commentator once again casts doubt on the sexuality of former U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, questioning the legitimacy of the openly gay politician’s identity and suggesting he would like to ask him "very specific questions about gay sex." tRump wants to stay in power permanently, and martial law is how he is going to do it. Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday to rebrand the Department of Defense as the Department of War, a callback to the department’s original name used from 1789 to 1947. tRump likes being a Hitler. "Free D.C.! Free Palestine!" the activists chanted before calling Trump "the Hitler of our time." As they chanted, the president walked up and smiled at one of the women recording the confrontation on her phone.
161 - Flushbunking

161 - Flushbunking

2025-08-3117:12

This is episode 161 of the Baehr and Curadh podcast. We are going to talk about flushbunking. Charlie Kirk: "Submit to your husband, Taylor Swift." Framing his remarks as a congratulations, Kirk said on his Real America’s Voice show: "This is something that I hope will make Taylor Swift more conservative. Engage in reality more… Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You’re not in charge." U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy said, "Windmills Are Wiping Out The Whale Population" The revelation, during a meeting of President Donald Trump’s cabinet, demonstrates a full-throated effort by his administration to undermine an industry that was central to former President Joe Biden’s climate and energy agendas. Way To Read The Room As the country grapples with another mass shooting, gun advocates petitioned the Supreme Court to loosen restrictions on weapons that have become synonymous with such tragedies. Enraged constituent tells off GOP Rep. as crowd applauds: "Take your head out of Trump’s ass" The speaker, an older man and a farmer, blasted Representative Mark Alford of Missouri for having no understanding of what it’s like for a working-class American trying to feed their family. Trump Claims Crime Is a Blue City Problem Despite Red State Reality According to Newsweek, out of the twenty-five most dangerous cities per capita, the vast majority -- eighteen -- are in red states. Only seven out of the twenty-five are in blue states. William Shatner’s message for gay fans: Keep on queerin "We all belong to each other, and all of us belong to the rest of existence, the world, the universe," said Shatner. "It also suggests that we are caretakers of our earth and we must, without question, care for the water, the air, the earth." Trump - "I have the right to do anything I want to do. I'm the president of the United States." Trump may be the president, but he doesn't have the right to do anything he wants. Years ago, that comment alone would have caused all sorts of havoc, but in today's society which has been desensitized to unconsciousness by an overload of information from a far-right ecosystem led by Fox News, right-wing social media influencers and access-ambitious pundits, it will probably go over like a thin breeze.
