Bringing in the New Year with Season 5 of the Child of God Podcast. A podcast founded on faith in Jesus Christ, biblical truths, and humility. We are called to be as children in the kingdom, filled with faith, humility and representative of the first fruits of our Heavenly Father's creation. Our Identity is in Christ, and we are disciples of Jesus Christ. John 1:12 "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God". Matthew 18:2-5 "He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me."

Since, we are children of God, Who exactly is Our Heavenly Father? He is who He says He is. So let’s discover: “Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be your name.” Explanation of Abba “Father” in Hebrew. Exploration of a few characteristics of our father, Head of the Home: 2 Corinthians 6:16b, 18 – “I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people… and I will be your father, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” Unconditional Love, 1 John 3:1 – “See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” Reliable/ Faithful, 1 Corinthians 1:9: "God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord". Has it been a season of silence? You are not in a season of affliction, blessings, or noise. But, you have been praying, but all you feel like you have is crickets. You aren't sure what to do in this season of silence, and all you have been doing is either sitting in confusion, or the filling the silence with the noise of the world.  Today we talk about how to wait on God, when you are in silence or confusion.   [God has long-term plans, so don't allow short-term feelings to hinder them.]  Feel your feelings, acknowledge your feelings, and recognize that they are not in control.   This series of the podcast we are talking about waiting on God.

Are you in pain? Emotional and physical pain, and wondering when is it going to be over? Waiting in Affliction is beyond hard, sometimes it can even seem impossible, especially when you don't when it is going to be over. God is there with you, He has always been there, so don't give up.
