This week, Elliott opens up about slowing life down and spending proper, quality time on the bank with his son Albert — a reminder of what fishing is really all about. He dives into the new Fox Heli-Safe that’s turning heads and seriously challenging Korda’s version, plus a fresh batch of underwater revelations featuring Scott Lloyd. The lads also touch on how a single swan can ruin a carefully crafted spot in seconds, and the devastating situation unfolding at the Orient as dam repairs continue to take their toll.
In this episode, Elliott dives into the madness of their latest underwater shoot with Alan Blair — a session that took an unexpected turn when the cameras weren’t the only things rolling… let’s just say there were plenty of naked distractions in the background! Between the chaos, the lads get stuck into a few Cypography updates, the ongoing beaked vs straight point hook debate, and how Elliott’s been slowing things down to spend a bit of proper family time away from the banks.
In this episode, Elliott talks about Scott Lloyd’s Fishin’ Show, his recent fishing at Burghfield, The NEW Survival Series and preparing to film an underwater project with Alan Blair. He also shares members’ feedback and reflects on the end of an era with the closure of Nash Bait.

The first ever carp fishing podcast from Cypography - hosted by Elliott Gray and Richard Stewart. "For a long time we've wanted to bring a podcast to the table, and we've finally done it. With more than a decade in the angling industry, working on the carp fishing journalism side, we have so many stories to tell. Working to build our Cypography video archive sees us mixing with the best carp anglers there is, week in week out, and with this in mind, there's always something interesting to talk about. As keen carp anglers ourselves, it's not just our Cypography work that we'll discuss, but a host of other interesting topics too, based on what's happening on the carp scene at the time.
In this episode we discuss the full moon phase, the impossible task of catching in the fog, the Burghfield common, Elliott's new found love for fishing in Europe and a general catching up of what's been happening in the world of Cypography of late.
Our ears are always firmly to the ground and we hope to bring an insightful, entertaining and carp-fuelled podcast into the mix.
Here's our first attempt."
