D_A_T_A_M_O_S_H invite the listener to join them on a sound collage through their collective influences accompanied by an exclusive musical score developed for this podcast by D_A_T_A_M_O_S_H.BACKGROUND: This podcast introduces D_A_T_A_M_O_S_H (Guy Mayman and Paul Jones), a collaborative project initiated after they discovered an archive of 35mm slides and audio cassettes from the 1980s that was destined for destruction.
Bruno is also a consultant from Brazil with work featured in 50+ international publications and exhibited in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe. He is also a Curator of Graphic Design exhibitions all over the world and he was appointed Ambassador of Latin Design by the Latin Design Committee at the Design School Forum 2015 in Argentina. Jury member at international awards – such as iF Design Award, Adobe Design Achievement Awards and the CLAP Awards on Graphic Design, Branding and Communication. He is also an author and editor of books on graphic design, communication and typography, currently investigating graphic design and visual communication aspects of Comics and their components.

On today’s show Dr Paul Jones talks to Chloe Goodwin and Ryan Saunders about their involvement in the Dispensary Gallery. We also discuss their experience of being artists and curators pre and post COVID19. Chloe is a graduate of the BA (hon) Fine Art programme, attaining her award in 2019 and was a Graduate Artist in Residence at Wrexham Glyndwr University in 2020. Ryan graduated from BA (hons) Fine Art in 2020 and holds a Future Leaders award. Both are currently studying for an MA in Creative Production and Curatorial Practice.

Lal Davies deals in words and pictures – she is a film-maker, photographer and poet. Lal is of South Indian and Southern Irish descent. Three generations of her Indian family have been born in North Wales since coming to the UK. Lal has an established practice of first-person narrative and short documentary film-making and an emergent multi-disciplinary practice using film, photography and poetry as distinct disciplines and at the blurred edges where they meet, This work explores her relationship with nature, post-colonial narratives in Wales, race and visible difference and broader themes of love and loss.
