Description

Welcome to my podcast! A space I created for me to connect with others about anything and everything I love or am curious about. Every week I hold conversations with people whom I love, admire, am inspired by or want to get to know a little more. It is my hope that with each episode, listeners are able to relate to a story being told, find new wisdom and information they can apply in their own lives, or simply leave feeling entertained, seen, understood, hopeful and inspired.

Grab your coffee -and snack- and join our conversation.

Hello friends, to say that I'm excited for this episode is an understatement. Kylie, from Kylie Adele Wellness, stopped by the podcast and I was pleasantly surprised at just how honest and fun, and energetic she was. Episode 31: Zoyla Fierro

Episode 31: Zoyla Fierro

2022-08-0601:50:41

Hey everyone! I had the pleasure of holding a really beautiful conversation with Zoyla around healing through the understanding of our own mortality. We talked about letting go of the past, embracing the future but not at the expense of not being present in the moment. There was talk about energy, shifting memories, releasing pain of generational traumas; we talked about it all!!  After years of denying her gift of guiding others through pain and helping them find healing by letting go of their past; Zoyla is finally at a place where she is fully embracing her calling and is excited and committed to help others within our community. I was so excited to hear about her experiences and her wish to help anyone willing to make a positive change in their life. I hope you all find meaning in all we shared and if you, or anyone you know, would like to work with Zoyla; please feel free to reach out to her anytime!
Hey, everyone! It's been so long since I last popped in here to share with you, but I'm back after a long winter break! Today on the episode, our friend Muriel, a licensed marriage and family therapist, is back to answer questions from our listeners. I hope you enjoy this episode and you take away something positive from this conversation. Thanks for listening!!
Hey, everyone! After my last conversation with Muriel, we decided to do a second episode, and this time we are discussing domestic violence. October is domestic violence awareness month, and before the month is over we wanted to have a special conversation about this topic. Muriel, a licensed therapist, discusses the many forms that domestic violence can take, signs that you or a loved one may be in an abusive relationship, possible steps to take, and the importance of knowing and understanding that helps is available for anyone going through something like this. If you want to work with Muriel, you can find her and reach her at: https://instagram.com/muriel.c.lmft or you can check out her website at: www.muriel@insightcounselingws.com Thanks for listening!!
Hey, everyone! On tooday's episode I had the pleasure of speaking with Muriel, she's an entrepreneur and licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). Muriel shares a bit of her background, her experiences as a former undocumented individual, and the challenges she overcame to get to where she is today. Muriel is proudly serving her community on so many different levels, and during our conversation she described a bit of the work she does, her projects, her desire to continue serving and helping her community and fellow BIPOC mental health professionals by educating, training, offering professional support, bringing awareness and making a difference in the life of those she meets and works with. *If you are interested in working with her, or wish to support the work she does, you can find her and message her directly at: https://instagram.com/muriel.c.lmft You can also check out her website at: www.muriel@insightcounselingws.com Thanks for listening and for always having my back. Hello, friends I'm back with a new episode, and an exciting one for me and for the community of El Paso. Mayra returned to the podcast one more time and it was wonderful to chat with her again. We discussed boundaries, self-love, self-acceptance, learning to not care about what others think about us as long as we stand in our truth; healthy dynamics with other women and so much more. I am excited to finally share this second part with all of you and it is my hope that you find something in our conversation that offers you hope.  Thanks for listening, and thank you to everyone who continues to support this space. I appreciate you all.  Don't forget to follow Mayra on https://instagram.com/undocu.mentalhealth and you can also learn about her work and find tons of resources by visiting her website: https://www.undocumentalhealth.com
Hello, everyone today I share my thoughts on how chemistry, feelings of love, and rainbows and butterflies are used as the foundation for long lasting relationships. The truth is, in my experience, relationships need more than feelings of love and fireworks. Love changes overtime and love requires for us to show up daily, even when it feels uncomfortable.  Thanks for listening!!
On this episode, special guest Kelly Marentette, tells me about her experience of moving to México from Canada and navigating a different culture, traditions, the struggles of learning a new language; and also the beautiful experiences she's had while embracing living in a different country than the one she was born and raised in. Kelly also shares the journey she's been on trying to find healing for both her physical and mental health. For years she’s struggled with anxiety, depression and most recently endometriosis. She tells me of an opportunity she found while looking to alleviate her symptoms and how she’s now using her platform to help others find relief as well. *If you are interested in learning more about what Kelly discusses in the episode, or you want to work with her; you can find her at: https://instagram.com/kcmarentette ** Always check with a medical professional before you begin taking any supplements. If you are already under the care of a physician, do not stop taking your prescribed medication. The information  discussed on this episode is from personal experience only.

Hey, everyone! In this episode I spoke with Pauli, a total boss lady, who shares with me some of her most challenging life experiences and how those difficult moments have given her the courage to pursue what she's passionate about. Her business, Bud & Wellness, was created as a means to help those who struggle with chronic pain, as Pauli herself has been struggling with years of physical pain from a terrible accident years back. Pauli was so genuine and honest in sharing about her life, her dreams, and her desire to one day look back with pride knowing she took a chance on herself.  *If you're interested in connecting with Pauli, you can do so through Instagram at: https://instagram.com/budnbodywellness or find her on Facebook at: Bud & Body Wellness.

On this episode I share with you all a big life update for my family and I, and I also share a little on forgiving oneself as a part of healing. Thanks for stopping by!!

Hey everyone! In this week's episode , I chat about not being nearly done with Christmas shopping, and a  conversation I had on a podcast that really resonated with me on why it's important for us to remember that others don't owe us their forgiveness.  I hope you all have a great week!
