well done Gavin. I think this conversation took more of a pastoral than intellectual tone though. most of the counterpoints deviated from the thesis. he appealed to. well it doesn't make it not true often. and whether atheism is true or not has nothing to do with the claim that believing it is morally devastating
To go further illustrating the difference in application of OT and NT practices, in the NT, baptism was applied to the servants of the household whereas in the OT, circumcision was not. It was only applied to descendants of Abraham.
