Newcastle look set to make their second summer signing with Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes strongly tipped to join the Magpies. Jack and Bobby discuss why Howe has targeted the wide man, what he will bring to the team and what the move means for players like Allan Saint-Maximin and Anthony Gordon. The lads also touch on Gordon’s Euro success (including some very sour grapes), and highlight the FFP need for the Newcastle to start selling players sooner or later.

Jack and Dimi are joined by Taylor from Milan Club Melbourne to get the Milan perspective on imminent Newcastle new boy Sandro Tonali. Tonali was a symbol of hope and a future captain of Milan. It was a game billed as both a title challenging must-win for Arsenal, and a Champions League booster for NUFC, but it was the visitors who ultimately ran out winners at a boisterous St James' Park. Lee and Bobby review the disappointing game against Arsenal, in which two battling sides went at each other from the first whistle in the raucous cauldron atmosphere of St James' Park. Despite hitting the woodwork early on and having a penalty denied by our friend VAR, it was Arsenal who struck first and would go on to win the game via an unfortunate deflection late in the game. Keegan, Dimi and Jack as they revel in the astonishing events that unfolded on Tyneside on Sunday. It was game over after 8 minutes when Jacob Murphy slammed in his second and Newcastle's third goal, but there was even better to come with Joe Willock's assist of the century. St James' Park was in a state of shock after 21 minutes as the Magpies had smashed into Spurs with a ferocity they just couldn't deal with and hit the net five times. Spurs fans were despondent about their chances before kick off, and it quickly became apparent why. They capitulated without trace in the face of the relentless Magpie attack. This famous victory over a Champions League chasing rival leaves Newcastle in third place with seven games remaining. Eddie's Mags are firmly in the driving seat to round off what would be a truly remarkable season.
