It's not all about the Quarterback for a team to be successful, but in today's professional league, it is a major factor. Shane Steichen and Lou Anarumo are huge factors in the team's future. But talent is needed around a ball club, both on offense, and defense, and the play calling on both sides needs to be sufficient as well. Indy has talent on both sides of the football, but 2 position groups have to play well week in, and week out for the Colts to continue their success, and it is NOT the QB! So many Daniel Jones haters said the Colts would get destroyed by the Dolphins, and there was no chance Indy could win. Daniel had one heck of a game, with 3 total touchdowns, and no turnovers, while throwing for 76% completions! In the meantime, Defensive coordinator: Lou Anarumo's defense stifled and confused a high octane offense. Accounting for 3 sacks, and 3 turnovers! Not allowing 100 yards or any points, until 20 minutes left in the game when Indy had a commanding lead. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
Why did Daniel Jones get the start over Anthony Richardson? The Colts need to keep everything in front of them on defense! Biggest worry on defense is linebacker. Indy's offensive starters are not a problem. Be consistent, and quick with reads in the passing game. Run the damn ball! Predictions! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Jim Bob discusses the offense, and how he is very happy with how the tight ends are progressing. Lou Anarumo answers questions about his defense, and how the defensive backs are performing. Brian Mason takes questions about the special teams, and how there is no live tackle periods during training camp for his group. Thoughts on Jim Irsay. The defense should be WAY better. The Wide Receivers are set. Tight Ends should also be set, need some to step up. The middle of the Offensive Line is still worrisome. May the best man win the Quarterback battle. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

The move from linebacker to safety? How he balances being aggressive, as opposed to being safe. Has he had contact with Jonathan Taylor, or any other Badgers? How he deals with injuries. How frustrated was he when he was picked much later than expected? Making tackles vs getting a big hit, is more important as a safety. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The difference between playing on an Ivy league team and Iowa St. What positions are expected from him by the Indianapolis Colts? Diving into him being an intern for a senator. His vertical at the Combine was insane! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
The Indianapolis Colts need to do some soul searching after the loss to the New York Giants. Jim Irsay wants to continue to keep the team in the family. Chis Ballard probably will be fired, but will it change anything? Is Shane Steichen the right guy to be the head coach? Steichen's response to Pat McAfee's comments on the organization was a bad look. It takes a certain leadership to reign in players coming out of college today. Colts need a new culture, because money is more important than the team winning games. There is a difference between 'keeping it in house', and lying to media and fans. Why is Carlie Irsay on the sidelines, instead of in a box like other owners? What is Jim-Bob Cooter's job as an Offensive Coordinator in this regime? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Indianapolis Colts have no excuse to losing to the Denver Broncos 13-31. Is the loss on the shoulders of Jonathan Taylor? Was the pick-6 A.D. Mitchell's fault? Michael Pittman Jr.'s fumble...defensive credit, or WR's fault? Special Teams punt return coverage was absolutely terrible! Why the hell did Shane Steichen go for it on 4th and 6, with 12 minutes left!? Anthony Richardson's play was his worst of the year. Matt Gay has played very good football the past 2 months. The defense had their best game of the year. This is a talented NFL team. It needs better leadership. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Detroit Lions are easily the toughest opponent the Indianapolis Colts will face this 2024 NFL season. The Colts defense needs to play very physical, versus a very talented Lions offense. Jared Goff is playing amazing, but he's not perfect. Dan Campbell was an intern coach for Donald Thomas at the Miami Dolphins. The lead the NFL in forced fumbles, but Detroit leads the league in interceptions. Mark Glowinski probably won't play, so Donald gives advice to the rookie offensive linemen. Discussing Dan Campbell's comments on quarterback Anthony Richardson. Jonathan Taylor on deciding to stay on script, or go freestyle. The position group that needs to play their best football for Indy to win. The Tight Ends get called out for horrible run blocking this season. The interior offensive line need to block well in the run game, to impose their will. Game predictions! Why the Indianapolis Colts historically have not gotten credit for beating good teams. Losing to the Jets would have been rough on any team confidence. The win versus the New York Jets wasn't perfect, but overall pretty sharp. Indianapolis Colts quarterback: Anthony Richardson showed fire after benching. AR's reaction to an overthrow, and how he handled the game winning 2-minute drive. With 3 rookie offensive linemen, the game rested on Richardson's arm, instead of the run game. Shane Steichen and Gus Bradley called a pretty good overall game, but still room for improvement. E.J. Speed's play has not been consistent. I think he needs something to get his fire back. The Colts are within reach of the AFC South division title. Shout out to Josh Downs, Matt Gay, and special teams. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
The Indianapolis Colts have some problems, that were seen on the sideline versus the Buffalo Bills. Joe Flacco's 4 turnovers were too difficult to overcome. It is incredibly frustrating when your side plays well, but the other side is screwing it all up. Kenny Moore II should not have said that to the media. Kenny was not lying. Was he just trying to light a fire? How can coaches take accountability for themselves? Coach Pagano was a good person, and knew X's and O's, but could not get the most out of his players. Is Head Coach Shane Steichen on the hot seat? What is the best decision for Shane now, starting Flacco or Anthony Richardson? The defense played well overall, but they are not without blame either. If the Colts were winning, would any of the problems be addressed? It's not time to throw the towel in. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
Initial thoughts about facing a top 5 NFL team. The Indianapolis Colts play tough teams tough. Buffalo Bills quarterback: Josh Allen is having one of his best seasons of his career. Bills have 13 touchdowns rushing the football. The Colts passing attack has not done well lately, and Bills only allow 6.6 yards per attempt. Bills are 3rd in the league at creating turnovers. Defenders need to bring Josh Allen down, not worry about turnovers. How does injuries, and returning injuries, effect a game on the offensive line? Who get's more credit for the o-line, Chris Ballard or line coach Sparano Jr.? Offensive and defensive players who need to play their best to win. Game predictions! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
Joe Flacco's play in primetime leaves Indianapolis Colts fans wanting more. This is a learning experience for Anthony Richardson? Did the Colts hurt Richardson's development of maturity/leadership by starting him too early? The Colts have to ride with Flacco now. Jonathan Taylor is a special running back. Indy did Richardson a disservice by throwing Anthony in the fire. The Defense again did their job, and gave the offense a chance to win the game. The fumble on the 1st drive effected the entire game. Self inflicted wounds ended a promising drive also. Who was to blame for the only sacks of the game, given up on the last drive? Quarterback is the hardest job in all sports. Phil and Matt Simms gear up for Week 9 as they discuss the rising stock of quarterbacks like Kyler Murray, Jameis Winston, Bo Nix, Kirk Cousins, and Tua Tagovailoa. They also touch on the Anthony Richardson situation in Indy. After breaking down film on these quarterbacks, they provide in-depth analysis and share their picks for the games of the week Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Indianapolis Colts are 5 point underdogs to the Minnesotta Vikings. Both the Colts and the Vikings are pretty healthy outside of 1 or 2 players each. This is a strength versus strength, weakness vs weakness matchup. The Colts are going to have to find a way to beat the blitz. How important is Anthony Richardson to the success of the rushing attack? I would not be surprised if Anthony Richardson sees the field a few times this game. The Colts defense will need to bracket Justin Jefferson. Keep pressure on Sam Darnold, and make him see ghost's. The Colts have got to win 6 of the final 9 to make the playoff's. Game Predictions!
