Guy has heard rumour of a legendary fountain in Hamilton: Fluoride free taps set up to appease the conspiracy theory crowd.  For years he has dreamed of traveling to this amazing fountain, to hopefully get access to some of the stupidest idiots he's ever met in his life, and today that dream becomes a reality... but as always it quickly becomes apparent that the stupidest idiot... may be him? 
Guy meets a Wellington icon, Mayoral candidate, and the man who set the record for NZ Broadcasting standards complaints: Don Newt McDonald!

It's the final episode of series 1 of the New Zealand Today podcast! Guy and Karen return from their Te Reo specials and have instantly forgotten almost everything they learned. Karen is afraid of electric planes, tells us about the time her favourite cardigan was destroyed by a chimpanzee, and Guy is excited about visiting a sex maze! 
Some people have rightly pointed out that Guy and Karen’s pronunciation of some New Zealand place names… specifically Māori ones… is pretty poor! Last week we tried the South Island, this week they try and work on their "North Island" or "Te Ika-a-Māui" place name pronunciation skills. Huge thanks to Josiah Komene (@josiahkomene on Tik Tok) from TahuFM for helping, that man has the patience of a saint.    
Some people have rightly pointed out that Guy and Karen’s pronunciation of some New Zealand place names… specifically Māori ones… is pretty poor! In this episode, they try and improve a little bit by hearing the proper pronunciation, with the help of the legend Josiah Komene (@josiahkomene on Tik Tok) from TahuFM! Part one focuses on famous place names from the South Island.
