Missing Sodder Children /// Part 2 /// 893Part 2 of 2 www.TrueCrimeGarage.comIn Fayetteville, West Virginia there once stood two billboards. Billboards announcing a mystery and asking for help. These billboards were up for decades, seeking answers. Passing motorists could easily see either as they wizzed by in their automobiles. This is the information from one of them. At the top was a simple announcement - “After thirty years it is not too late to investigate” Below this text, the billboard featured pictures of each of the five missing Sodder children - Maurice, Martha, Louis, Jennie, and Betty.  The text below the pictures read… On Christmas Eve 1945 our home was set afire and five of our children ages 5 through 14 kidnapped. The officials blamed defective wiring although lights were still burning after the fire started. The official report stated that the children died in the fire. However no bones were found in the residue and there was no smell of burning flesh during or after the fire. What was the motive of the law officers involved? What did they have to gain by making us suffer all of these years of injustice? Why did they force us to accept those lies? Anyone with any information is asked to email5sodderkids@gmail.com Beer of the Week - Holiday Cheer by Shiner Garage Grade - 4 and 3 quarter bottle caps out of 5  More True Crime Garage can be found on Patreon and Apple subscriptions with our show - Off The Record.  Catch dozens of episodes of Off The Record plus a couple of Bonus episodes and our first 50 when you sign up today.  True Crime Garage merchandise is available on our website’s store page.   Follow the show on X and Insta @TrueCrimeGarage / Follow Nic on X @TCGNIC / Follow The Captain on X @TCGCaptain  Be good, be kind, and Merry Christmas!  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. In today’s online world, many products and apps are easily available, but safety should always come first — whether it is medicine or mobile applications. For example, users looking for safe gaming resources sometimes explore trusted guides like https://apktocalifeworld.com Toca Boca mod APK to understand features and updates clearly before downloading.

Taught my daughter. I have a paper map water flashlight blanket and a. 380 and mostly patience. Daylight makes so much difference. It would be a sucky night, but if I cannot get a signal, just lock the doors.

He's obviously impaired to a gray degree which at his age is not a sin. I'm convinced he met with foul play.

Ya'll been to Ohio. I'm a corn fed girl. It can get easy to get lost in crops. This breaks my heart.

Surely there are fresh cases deserving of some coverage rather than 6 whole episodes of a case you've covered a few times already. These could easily have been condensed down to two episodes IMO. Love the show but it's a bit like a broken record about this case.

I think it was the husband. He didn't need to leave the house if someone else did it for him. I hope they checked his phone, computer, and bank records. Easy divorce when she's no longer alive.

6 MORE episodes? I've listened to every one of your episodes. But enough is enough. Unsubscribed!

Is it a possibility that he was planning on disappearing this night, using red herrings? You mention his almost double; is it possible that Brian did walk out but changing his look/identity & the guy who looked like him played the game & disappeared into the night, creating this never ending saga, sounds like Brian was a bit of a chameleon 🤷‍♀️ Just a thought. Keep up the great work guys!

I remember that being in the news... All over the news, locally here in metro detroit. such a sad case, and the residents were blindsided in that small town.

It's a good thing the old revolting pedo was killed before America had the chance to elect him as their next President.

This kind of thing is inevitable when the justice system coddles and protects sex fiends. Eventually people realize that the system isn't there to protect us decent and normal people, and some end up doing what the system should have done but was too corrupt and evil to do itself.

I have so many questions! How this has not been solved yet blows my mind. 1. Was this man wearing a uniform or name tag? Did anyone look at the packing skip, you dont usually find those in a public garbage can. 2. It was mentioned that there was a possibility that he was in prison before? If he was in prison before, isn't mandatory to have their DNA in the system? If so, can they not run a comparison? 3. Was he wearing gloves? 4. Could this be gang related? Initiation? 5. Was the safe empty? 6. Inside job? I am really interested in that letter about the man having insider info. Did the police do any investigating in to that possibility? 7. Why is it so hard to get actual information instead of rumors? I think they have way more information than they are sharing nd the motives go way deeper than a addict needing money for a quick score. 8. Is there a possibility that this man could be dead? I feel like you guys have put more time into this case than any agency. They are asking the wrong
