We start off we a long conversation with Bob in which we ask him to walk us through his first time GMing in Pathfinder 2e and his new D&D 5E campaign. Bob asks Aaron and Derik some questions, but mostly give us his thoughts on how the GM/DM seat felt and what were his main takeaways. In part two, we delve further into Bob's recent experiences as he had his first time playing Dungeon World recently. In a game system with a powerful referee and judge in the form of a game or dungeon master do RPGs really even need to be focused on balance? How do you manage the trade-off between balance and fun? Can a game be "too balanced"? All these questions and more are discussed and answered on this episode of the Late Knight Show!
