I started therapy back in November 2021 and it has been a roller coaster; a little scary at points but what a time! I decided to do this episode about what I've learned in this experience so far. Why do I refer to this process as ghetto? Well to learn what that means you have to check out the episode. The journey of self awareness and self love is something that I am committed to wholeheartedly. It's been a process but typically anything thats worth having is. With God's help and the support of my amazing village, I'm learning so much about myself. It is indeed possible to have Jesus and therapy. --Music Recommendation: Back to Eden Pt. Fall Away: Family & Faith

My brother John came home for Thanksgiving this year. After having some trouble with his rental, what was suppose to be a week trip ended up turning into a three week adventure. During his visit, we were able to reconnect in a way that we hadn't in years. After watching my brother rebuild his life this year at age 27, this episode was important for us to record. In this episode,  John and I will discuss his change in religious practices four years ago, how he shared this decision with our Christian family and how we have grown beyond a moment that has torn families apart. This episode is about honesty, it's about healing and most importantly it's about reconciliation. Learning how to be an interfaith family has not been easy, but take a listen as we discuss how we are doing it.This episode of Crowned: Confessions & Conversations is probably one of the most vulnerable episodes I'll ever record. One of the most important things in my life is by far my family. --Music Recommendation: Jackie Hill Perry - Fall AwayYouTube: https://youtu.be/svGYcSl2gVwThank you for tuning into Crowned: Confessions & Conversations Basic outro
