Ty and Tiffany are good friends of mine who are two incredible individuals and a beautiful power-couple driven by their amazing faith. He went to Drake University, and there, he went to the NCAA tournament, became the program's all-time leading scorer, and graduated with a bachelor's in business management and marketing. After being drafted into the NBA G-League by the Austin Spurs, he eventually found himself playing on the European circuit where he spent 12 seasons, competing in numerous countries across the European continent. Recently, Josh founded his first business, Competition of One. Competition of One encourages individuals that their ability to compete is best maximized when its focused within. His journey has taught him a ton of wisdom and faith when things don’t seem to go the way they should. He's learned the importance of the crew, and environments surrounding you, having the right perspective, and responding to events successfully. Young athletes listen up!
Big Rob is one of my closest and most encouraging friends. A defensive stud that played at Abilene Christian, Oklahoma Baptist, and finished his career with a short stint in the NFL. The faithfulness, commitment, and trust that Robert has embodied throughout his life is extremely inspirational and infectious in an amazing way. He has a special way of articulating and explaining, through the Word, why life unfolds the way it does, and how we can find peace and comfort through it all… even when an NFL career doesn’t go the way you imagined it would.
Nate is a dear friend of mine whose wisdom and knowledge from his life adventure will inspire you to look at your circumstances and your life with a new mindset and perspective. Hess has encouraged and inspired me for many years through his work ethic, imagination, and innovation regarding making money and being successful in various aspects of his life. His incredible work towards cultivating a growth mindset gives you the tools to separate from the average.
Hayden is a great buddy of mine who played tight end with me at Oregon State. He grew up in a small town in Oregon, and first went to Montana to play ball before coming to OSU. His up and down story of finding home at OSU, retiring from playing because of concussions, and the journey through letting go and moving on, may offer you inspiration for your journey, and especially profound advice for young athletes.
Breiden is an amazing man of faith, love, and service. He's going into his fourth NFL season, now with the Steelers, after spending his first three years with the Chargers. This is the first episode of a new series with my friend Josh, called Faith Recap. This series will look at previous episode conversations through the lens of faith and God's word. Josh has become an amazing friend of mine over this past year. He's a pastor at my church, Hope Fellowship, and holds two Master's degrees in theology and a Doctorate in Christian Formation and Discipleship. He has over 15 years of pastoral ministry experience. Josh and his lovely wife, Faith, have been married for 16 years, and have a three-year-old son named, Judah. In this recap, we dissect how theology dictates your philosophy of living; how letting go is not falling, but is allowing; and how the wisdom of God is foolishness to the world.

This is a special one that was recorded last year. Jake is my best friend. We met when we were eight years old, and since, we've experienced an incredible amount of life together. From countless weeks at The Cabin, to heli-skiing in the Whistler backcountry, to riding waves in Maui, Jake and I have been blessed to experience profound moments together, which has sparked beautiful realizations, questions, connection, and discussions. The way he sees the world offers so much encouragement and inspiration for your journey. His story is very relatable, and his wisdom provides help and insight to every single one of us.
WARNING: Jake cusses in here. We still love him.
Joe is an incredible dude with a beautiful soul. He's a dear friend of mine, and a mentor. He had an eight-year NFL career as an offensive lineman, playing for Atlanta and Tampa Bay. He decided to walk away from the game, and a contract worth millions, to seek what his soul was searching for. He gave all of his possessions away to charity, bought a van, adopted a dog named Freedom, and hit the road for two years. His journey, and all he's learned through the healing, is profound and offers so much wisdom. From transitioning out of the league, he created The Härt Collective, which is now a community, membership, and container of heart-centered leaders who are learning to passionately pursue ways to integrate the new paradigm into business, culture, and relationships. https://www.thehartcollective.com @joe.hawley @the.hart.collective
