While there is positive and negative forms of sibling rivalry, I seemingly found myself on the negative side of it all. My experience with sibling rivalry has always been one of my downfalls. It has played one of the biggest roles especially where relationships in my life are concerned. I did however decide that it wasn't going to be my main narrative.

Relationship Woes with Family Part 1 There are situations in life that families convince themselves they're ready for but reality shows them otherwise. Some family situations become complex because a lot of black families really choose to sweep a lot of important things under the rug. Avoidance of tough topics can often lead to unresolved conflicts and that can turn to a lot of animosity. Sometimes it creates situations where parents say undesirable things to kids and in turn making it easier for kids to mistreat or bully each other. Becoming a blended family is not easy, but being the only blending part of the family presented its own challenges.

We all experience different woes and some maybe similar, this is an overview of what I hope will be the start of many more conversations. Unraveling everything that is to come in the season.
