Welcome to Balancing Your Life Radio. As an End Of Life Doula or better known as a planner my job is to help you organize everything along the way. It's never too late to plan for the end. I work with young couples as they learn the best ways to organize and plan for the uncertain making it easier for everyone left behind. No fussing over who gets what, what you would have wanted, and what you need to do to serve your needs.
Learning about:
1. Advance Directives
2. Where you important paperwork should be held and who should know where that is.
3. Who would you want to raise your children and what legal paperwork have you done ahead of time. This avoids foster homes until things can be worked out.
4. What does your death bed look like in those last hours?
5. Who do you want there and who do you NOT want by your side?
6. Do you want a Life Journey Book or video for your loved ones?
7. What scents, music, bed clothing, etc. would you want to make you more comfortable?
8. Would you want a live wake, ending gathering or party.
9. DMV info for who you want to leave your car to.
10. What meds are you on, who is your Dr.s and their contact information? What drug stores do you use? What hospital do you want to go to? Does your doctor and hospital know (paperwork) what your wishes are?
There are so many things that go with Ending Life Well.

A End Of Life Doula also helps the family after the passing to complete all the things left to do and with the grieving process if needed.

Today's churches verses yesterday's. How have they changed and what is the hang up? The hurt instead of healing. What is your Christ like and are we following His Lead?
Reaching youth has never been such an urgency. Don't get me wrong we have always needed to reach them, but today's youth are guided down the ever so popular pleasure road. The road that says, "Gotta have it now", and if it feels good do it. Reminds me of the 70's. The songs like The Old Rugged Cross won't get them in church today so thinking outside the box, not outside the Christian box we just have to be creative in our thinking. How much is just one soul worth? More precious than gold is the gift of eternal life. That's our goal for their salvation and to find true happiness. There are too many hurting souls out there today with cutting and attempted suicide. We have lots to talk about tonight.
