Alexander Isak's tough start to life at Liverpool went from bad to worse at the weekend as he suffered what's believed to be a broken leg as he scored what proved to be the winner against Spurs.
Elsewhere in a busy weekend, Aston Villa continued their fantastic run by beating Manchester United at home, keeping them alongside Man City in the pack chasing Arsenal.
In the North East, Newcastle took a 2-0 lead at home to Chelsea before suffering a spirited comeback from the Blues, but it was the officiating that stole the headlines, with the Geordies denied a penalty and a red card during an entertaining game.

Erling Haaland scored his 100th Man City goal in just 111 games last night, but that was only half the story on a crazy night at Craven Cottage. Fulham fought back from 1-5 down to make it a nervy ending for Pep Guardiola's side, but the Citizens held on to keep the gap between themselves and leaders Arsenal at two points before the Gunners face Brentford.
Elsewhere, Newcastle twice led toothless Spurs at St James' Park, only for Cristian Romero to score a diving header and a 'bicycle kick', the second of which came halfway through nine minutes of added time, to break black and white hearts on Tyneside.

Chelsea held Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in one of the best games of the season on Sunday to prevent the Gunners extending their lead at the top of the Premier League.
Moises Caicedo seen red for a lunge at Mikel Merino but Chelsea still impressed, taking the lead through Trevoh Chalobah before Merino had the last laugh, heading the equaliser to earn Mikel Arteta's men a point.
Across London, things are looking negative for Thomas Frank as he wrestles with the Tottenham Hotspur faithful, after another home defeat. This time Fulham took full advantage of a slow start and a Guglielmo Vicario howler to take the points, leading to audible boos which Frank took umbrage with at full-time.
