Apostolic foundation.I have said these things to you while I am still with you. The 6th Sunday of Easter continues to present key aspects of our faith and practice in relation to Jesus's resurrection, in particular the apostolic foundation upon which believers ought to build their lives upon. Allow the holy spirit to guide us.
We are nearing the close of the Liturgical Year hence our readings are all pointing to the 'end times' but we know too that 'the end leads to a new beginning.' How do we prepare for this transition time that is before us?https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/111625.cfm

Lord, grant us the grace to recognize that everything is 'gift' and that by ourselves, there is really nothing we can be proud of.
Christ invites us to 'enter the narrow' door, which is not a 'passage that entails following rites and rituals.' He rather invites us to a way of life that involves growth in our relationship with a loving and merciful God who wants all to be saved.Follow the readings here: https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/082425.cfm
Lord, I am weak, come to my aid.Sunday's readings present examples of divisions caused by the presence of God in society. In faith, we are asked to choose: the division from sin and alignment to faith. It is not easy but the Lord and all the saints are here to help us. Heaven is our reward. Some mysteries are easier to feel than to understand. Jesus said "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now".Coming Sunday we celebrate a mystery often challenging to understand: The Holy Trinity, Rather than trying to understanding it, receive the harmony that it brings to us. Join the Holy Trinity.
Come Holy Spirit! On the feast of Pentecost, which many consider to be the birthday of the church, we are reminded that we are not left alone in the world after Jesus' ascension. Jesus sends us the holy spirit to teach and remind us of his love for us. Enkindle the hearts of the faithful Holy Spirit!
The Gospel this Sunday sounds so simple: "Love one another."But it is not easy to do in real life. Hence, we have the assurance from the Lord himself: "As I have loved you, so you should love one another." Let us 'source out' the power to love from the very love that Jesus has for us. We are 'loved' so we also have the power to love.
