Thank you for listening to season one. Here is a wrap-up of what we had learned over the past 8 episodes. Have a listen-out for season 2, where we have a fresh new format that includes interviewing business experts. May we inspire you further along your entrepreneurial journey.
In this episode you'll understand how to read customer cues. When you write a generic business vision, you write down what you want to do for your company. In a sentence or two, write down what you want to do this year. This will help you keep your work on track. One of the main things that a business has is a long-term plan and strategy that they follow. A business plan lays out what you want your business to be and where you want it to go in the future. If you don't have a vision for your business, it's likely that someone else will be in charge of how it looks as it grows. That might not be in your best interest. A well-thought-out and well-articulated business vision can be a powerful tool for making decisions and achieving goals by setting a goal, highlighting the values and culture of the company, and giving management feedback on whether they are on track or not, among other things. Vision statements are written statements about the goals, aspirations, and principles of a company.
This episode is all about identifying weak points and taking action where necessary. Business audits are done for quality assurance purposes, to keep an eye on and measure the performance of a business process. It is a way to figure out whether or not a business is going to be a success or a failure, and then make changes to improve it. A business audit that goes well can give you an objective look at your current operation, which will help you make better decisions for the future. It will also be a good starting point for a business's strategy, marketing plan, and operational goals, which will all be built on it. So, be smart and keep an eye on your finances, operations, compliance, information systems, personnel management, risk management, governance, and so on, and make plans for the future.
Systems are critical to making your team more productive. A system can be defined as a set of procedures, practises, or habits that is used in order to get specific results. For example, a sales system can help you identify the most qualified leads and close more deals. In this episode, you will get a broad understanding of these particular systems inside your business and the roles they play. Financial system (Accounts payable, Accounts receivable etc) 2. Accounting system (Purchasing and sales reports, Cost analysis, Sales reports etc) 3. HR system (Employees, Payroll, time tracking, etc) 4. Inventory management system (Stock management, Stock turnover etc) 5. Marketing system (Inquiry system, marketing plan etc)
