Cameron and Evin breakdown a funky weekend for UMass Hockey, which included their first loss of the season to Northeastern, and an overtime win against Bentley. The fellas have a LOT of thoughts to get out about the team's performance this past weekend, in what are obviously some early growing pains for this young team.
Cameron and Evin break down #14 UMass' 4-1 victory on the road against Stonehill to give them a 3-0 start to the season! They recap everything that happened in this one game weekend, including a hat trick from freshman phenom Václav Nestrašil, and the team's first ever visit to Warrior Ice Arena.
Cameron and Evin are here to break down UMass' season opening sweep of Northern Michigan in the first series recap of the year! They discuss the stellar performance from the newcomers, the record setting shot totals, and the all around encouraging play from the young group.
Cameron and Evin sat down with UMass Hockey Head Coach Greg Carvel, for the fourth consecutive year, to talk all things #NewMass! UMass just STUNNED Minnesota in the NCAA Regional Semifinal, storming back from a 3-1 deficit in the third period and eventually scoring the game winner in overtime to move on to Western Michigan in the Regional Final! UMass has officially clinched their spot in their 6th NCAA tournament in program history, and are set up for a 2022 Regional Semifinal rematch with 2 seed Minnesota on Thursday night in Fargo, North Dakota! Cameron and Evin are here to preview this matchup, and get out all of their excited/anxious thoughts about what is sure to be a nail-biting do or die game.
The top-10 finalists for the 2025 Hobey Baker award just got announced, and Cole O'Hara (and others from Hockey East) were inexplicably left out. Cameron and Evin share their thoughts and frustration on the decision in a quick impromptu episode.
UMass went on the road to play BU in the Hockey East Quarterfinals with a trip to TD Garden on the line, and they suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss in what was an unbelievable short handed effort. UMass took on UNH for the first time this season in a home and home series that had MASSIVE Hockey East and Pairwise implications. Cameron and Evin are here to break down a couple of weird performances from UMass that weren't very convincing, but did somewhat get the job done with 4/6 Hockey East points, and discuss everything you need to know about the team's playoff picture with 4 regular season games remaining!
UMass played their toughest opponent of the season over the weekend (#1 BC) and split the series, with the win coming on the road at Conte Forum! Cameron and Evin are here to break down everything that happened in this series, including what may very well be the biggest regular season win in program history! This is the longest High Character episode of all time so far, so buckle up!
Nathan Strauss once again joins the show, this time to talk all about #18 UMass' MASSIVE comeback road victory against #11 UConn! Him, Cameron, and Evin also dive deep into a bunch of other UMass Hockey topics, including Jack Musa's hat trick, Coach Carvel's incredible college coaching career, the upcoming home and home with #1 BC, the team's best road to the national tournament, and much more!
One of the weirder scheduling weekends for UMass ends with a nice win at home over Merrimack, and a heartbreakingly close loss up in Maine. Cameron and Evin are here to break down all the action from both games, and to detail what is at stake for UMass with 9 games remaining in the regular season.
