With one win in six premier league games there’s no denying this was a disastrous month for Chelsea with a big fluctuation in performance from game to game & even half to half . Old problems also re-emerged with conceding goals from set pieces & long throws. We try to work out once again what this Chelsea are. Enzo Maresca after the 2-0 Everton win said he’d had the “worst 48 hours” since arriving at the club, with these comments on top of comments made in the summer about wanting a centre back & stuttering form we ask is this the beginning of the end of Maresca? With defeat at Atalanta in the champions league we assess what Chelsea need for a top 8 finish.
